Miss Fannie M. Sackett.
     Westfield, April 24 — Miss Fannie M. Sackett, 90, lifelong resident of this city and a member of one of Westfield's oldest families, died at her home on Sackett road last night following a brief illness. She was born in Westfield, March 4, 1855, the daughter of Enoch and Pamelia (Lambson) Sackett. She was a graduate of Westfield high school and was a member of the Second Congregational church. She leaves a niece, Mrs Charles N. Lewis, and a nephew, James S. Fowler, both of this city. The funeral will be held from the Firtion-Hollister funeral home, 29 School street, Thursday afternoon at 2. Rev Kenneth Brookes, pastor of Second Congregational church, will officiate and burial will be in Pine Hill cemetery.

Widow of Joseph F. Allyn Passes Away After Long Illness

     Westfield, April 24—Mrs Jennie E. Allyn, 78, widow of Joseph F. Allyn, a lifelong resident of this city, died this morning after a long illness at the home of her sister, Mrs Cecelia M. Fowler of 138 Union street. She was born in this city, the daughter of Enoch and Pamelia (Lambson) Sackett. She was a member of the Second Congregational church and for many years was active in affairs of the church. She leaves four sisters, Mrs. Pamelia L. Taylor, Mrs. Cecelia M. Fowler and the Misses Ellen F., and Fannie M. Sackett; one nephew, James S. Fowler and a niece, Mrs Charles N. Lewis, all of this city. The funeral will be held Wednesday afternoon at 3, Rev Roy G. Pary officiating. Burial will be in Pine Hill cemetery.
