He is commemorated on the family grave at Colchester Village CemeteryG.2
     In 1850 Julian was living in Colchester, Chittendon, VermontG, in the household of his parents Thomas and Mary, and was recorded in the census as Julia Ann Brownell [sic], aged seven and born in Vermont.3
     In 1860 he was living in ColchesterG in the household of his parents Thomas and Mary, and was recorded as Julian Brownwell, aged 17.4
