Charles W Sackett, son of Charles Joseph Sockett/Sackett and Rose Marie Bell, was born in PennsylvaniaG on 2 April 1934.1,2 He died aged 90 on 7 August 2024.3 He married Mary Beatrice Trax, daughter of Clarence E Trax and Beatrice "Bee" O'Toole. Mary was born in Braddock, Allegheny CountyG, on 24 November 1936.4 She died aged 56 on 15 September 1993 and was buried at Plum Creek Cemetery, Plum, Allegheny County, PennsylvaniaG.4,5
     In 1940 Charles was living at Frankstown Road, Penn, Allegheny County, PennsylvaniaG, in the household of his parents Charles and Rose, and was recorded in the census as Charles Sackett Jr, aged six and born in Pennsylvania.6
     In 1950 he was living at 12400 Frankstown Road, PennG, in the household of his parents Charles and Rose, and was recorded as Charles Sackett Jr, aged 16.7

Sackett, Charles W.
Age 90, of Plum, formerly of Penn Hills, passed on Wednesday, August 7, 2024.
     Father to Greg Sackett, Daniel Sackett; grandfather to Savannah and Taylor.
     In addition to his parents, Charles and Rose, he was preceded in his passing by his wife, Beatrice; and a son, Michael Sackett.
     Charles was a member of the American Legion Post #980 where he served as a former vice commander. He was an avid outdoorsman who loved to hunt and fish. He was a lifetime member of Spring Church Sportsman club. Charles enjoyed spending time with his friends, and having a good time enjoying life. Charles was a proud U.S. Army Veteran.
     Friends received, Sunday, 2:00 pm-4:00 pm & 6:00 pm-8:00 pm at Soxman Funeral Homes, Ltd./Roth Chapel, 7450 Saltsburg Road (at Universal Road) Penn Hills, where a Blessing Service will be held, Monday, 10:00 am. Interment in Plum Creek Cemetery.

Francis Henry Fryer, son of Francis Thomas Fryer and Mary Ann Sackett, was born in LondonG on 27 July 19191,2,3 and baptized at Holy Trinity, Barking Road, Canning Town, LondonG, on 15 August 1919.4 He died aged 100 in KentG on 28 October 2019.5,6
     In 1921 Francis was living at 440 London Road, Croydon, SurreyG, and was recorded in the census as Francis Henry Fryer, aged one and born in London. He was living with his mother Mary in the household of Mary's sister Edna and brother-in-law Albert Schooley.7
