Moses Sacket, son of Moses Sacket and Phebe Williston, was born in Chester, Hampden County, MassachusettsG, about July 1819.1,2 He died aged 43 as the result of a fall in Boston, Suffolk County, MassachusettsG, on 8 October 1862.3,4 He married first in Lowell, Middlesex County, MassachusettsG, on 25 May 1842, Helen P Sprague.5,6,7 Helen was born in ChesterG in 1813.9 She died aged 41 in ChesterG on 9 October 185310 and was buried at Chester Factory Village CemeteryG.11 He married second in BostonG on 12 February 1854, Abby Ann Elms, daughter of Cornelius Elms.8 Abby was born in BostonG about 1832.12
     In 1855 Moses was living in BostonG and was recorded in the census as Moses Sackett, a laborer, aged 36 and born in Massachusetts. Living with him were his second wife, Abba Ann, 22, their son, Walter, aged six months, and Moses' children by his first marriage, William Henry, 12, and Elizabeth P, aged eight.13
     In 1860 he was living in BostonG and was recorded as Moses Sackett, a police officer, aged 41. Living with him were his second wife, Abbie A, 27, and his children by his first marriage, Henry, 17, and Elizabeth, aged 14.14
     In 1865 Moses' widow Abby was listed in the state census as a nurse, a widow, aged 34. She was living with many other nurses and other staff, evidently a hospital.15
     Abby was listed on 2 January 1867 as a depositor at the Provident Institution for Savings, Boston. She was described as a nurse at the Massachusetts General Hospital, the widow of Moses Sackett.16

Julia Josephine Whipple, daughter of Capt. George Whipple and Henrietta Sackett, was born in Westfield, Hampden County, MassachusettsG, on 26 May 1838.1,2 She died aged 80 on 29 December 1918 and was buried at Pine Hill Cemetery, WestfieldG.4 She married in WestfieldG on 7 November 1867, Dwight Kellogg, son of Alva Kellogg and Eliza ___.3 Dwight was born in WestfieldG about 1839.1
     Julia was named as a beneficiary in the will of her grandfather Warham Sackett made in WestfieldG on 28 July 1853. She was to inherit, with her sister Eugenia, the household furniture after Warham's widow Eunice's death.5
     Julia was named as a beneficiary in the will of her great-aunt Harriet Sacket made in WestfieldG on 29 October 1849. She was left a sum of $25 but, following Harriet's death some years later in 1875 and the realisation of her assets, the sum actually inherited was $62.50.5
