Zaven Sackett, son of John Sackett and Eunice Leffingwell, was born in Ashtabula County, Ohio^G, in 1832.¹ He died aged about 52 in 1884.¹ He married in Kendall County, Illinois^G, on 10 September 1856, Sarah Jane Gifford.¹
     In 1850 Zaven was living in Rockton, Winnebago County, Illinois^G, in the household of his brother David, and was recorded in the census as Zabin Sackett, a farmer, aged 19 and born in Ohio.²
     In 1860 he was living in Makee, Allamakee County, Iowa^G, and was recorded as Laven [sic] Sacket, a teamster, aged 28. Living with him were his wife Sarah J, 27, their daughter Lucretia, aged two, and a ten-year-old C Sacket.³
     In 1870 he was living in Decorah, Winneshiek County, Iowa^G, and was recorded as Zavin Sacket, an omnibus driver, aged 39 and born in Pennsylvania. Living with him were his wife Jane, 37, and their daughter Lucretia, aged 12. Also in the household was a female domestic servant.⁴

Lucretia "Lou" Sackett, daughter of Zaven Sackett and Sarah Jane Gifford, was born in Plano, Kendall County, Illinois^G, on 31 October 1857.^1,2,3 She died aged 78 in Salisbury, Rowan County, North Carolina^G, on 6 March 1936⁴ and was buried at Phelps Cemetery, Decorah, Winneshiek County, Iowa^G.² She married in Waukon, Allamakee County, Iowa^G, on 30 July 1899, John Patrick Enright, son of Patrick Enright and Elizabeth Charron.⁵ John was born in Ireland^G about 1858.⁶
     In 1860 Lucretia was living in Makee, Allamakee County, Iowa^G, in the household of her parents Zaven and Sarah, and was recorded in the census as Lucretia Sacket, aged two and born in Illinois.⁷
     In 1870 she was living in Decorah, Winneshiek County, Iowa^G, in the household of her parents Zaven and Jane, and was recorded as Lucretia Sacket, aged 12 and born in Illinois.⁸
     In 1920 she was living at Westington Street, Decorah^G, in the household of her husband John, 61, and was recorded as Lucretia Enright, aged 62 and born in Illinois.⁹
     In 1930 she was living at Jefferson Street, Decorah^G, and was recorded as Lou E Enright, head of househhold, a widow aged 72 and born in Illinois. She owned her home.¹⁰

Michall Sackett, son of Pietro Sacchet and Madalena Bratti, was born in Belluno, Italy^G, on 1 April 1885.^1,2 He married on 30 January 1909, Ottilia Ossi.²
     In 1930 he was living at King George Road, Woodbridge, Middlesex County, New Jersey^G, and was recorded as Michall Sackett, a house builder, head of household, aged 45 and born in Italy. He owned his home. Living with him were his children, Peter, 20, Madelyne, 18, Elda, 17, and Teresa, aged 16.³
