Enoch Sackett, farmer, son of Roland Sacket and Sarah "Sally" Phelps, was born in Westfield, Hampden County, Massachusetts^G, on 11 March 1816.¹ He died aged 81 on 20 September 1897 and was buried at Pine Hill Cemetery, Westfield^G. He married in Westfield^G on 18 April 1844, Parmelia Lampson.²
     In 1850 Enoch was living in Westfield, Hampden County, Massachusetts^G, and was recorded in the census as Enock Sacket, a farmer with real estate valued at $1,600, aged 33 and born in Massachusetts. Living with him were his wife Pamelia, aged 30, and children, Pamelia, 5, Cecilia, 3, and Ellen, aged one.³
     In 1860 he was living in Westfield^G and was recorded as Enoch Sacket, a farmer, aged 42. Living with him were his wife Pamelia, aged 40, and children, Pamelia, 15, Celia, 13, Ellen, 11, Jane, 8, and Fannie, aged five. Also in the household was John Hale, 21, a farm laborer.⁴
     In 1870 he was living in Westfield^G and was recorded as Enoch Sackett, a farmer, aged 53. Living with him were his wife Amelia, aged 50, and children, Celia, 23, Nellie, 20, Fanny, 15, and Jennie, 17. Also in the household was a 13-year-old black male farm laborer.⁵
     Enoch was included in a list of principal tax payers of Westfield published in the Westfield News-Letter in August 1872.⁶
     In 1880 he was living in Westfield^G and was recorded as Enoch Sackett, a farmer, head of household, aged 64. Living with him were his wife Amelia [Parmelia], aged 61, and their unmarried daughters Jenny, 27, and Fanny, 25. Also in the household was Fulton Dibble, 60, a laborer.⁷
     Enoch was named as a beneficiary in the will of his father Roland made in Westfield^G on 2 May 1882. He was to receive a sum of $400 from his brother Ashmon who was to inherit the estate.⁸

Eunice Lauretta Sacket, daughter of Royal Sacket and Eunice Hastings, was born in Southwick, Hampden County, Massachusetts^G, on 13 August 1809.^1,2,3,4 She died there aged 45 on 10 August 1855^2,5 and was buried at Southwick Cemetery^G.^7,8 She married on 23 November 1825, Thomas Hart Pepper.⁶
     In 1850 Eunice was living in Southwick^G in the household of her husband Hart, and was recorded in the census as Lauretta E Pepper, aged 41 and born in Massachusetts. Living with them were their children, Sarah, 19, Martha, 17, Jane, 15, Bennett, 6, and Flora, aged three.⁹

Lucretia Marilla Sackett, daughter of Royal Sacket and Eunice Hastings, was born in Southwick, Hampden County, Massachusetts^G, on 6 July 1814.^1,2 She died aged 88 in Springfield, Hampden County^G, on 2 May 1903^2,3,4 and was buried at Southwick Cemetery^G.⁶ She married on 24 November 1831, Enoch Root.⁵ Enoch was born on 8 March 1807⁷ and died aged 64 on 4 February 1872.⁷
Lucretia's obituary

Lucinda Emily Sacket, daughter of Royal Sacket and Eunice Hastings, was born in Southwick, Hampden County, Massachusetts^G, on 19 August 1817.^1,2 She died aged 85 in Westfield, Hampden County^G, on 7 August 1903.^2,3 She married on 29 April 1838, Alvin Rising, son of Samuel Rising and Sarah King.^4,5 Alvin was born on 24 July 1809.⁴

Luana Amorett Sacket, daughter of Royal Sacket and Eunice Hastings, was born in Southwick, Hampden County, Massachusetts^G, on 14 May 1819.^1,2 She died aged 83 on 22 February 1903.^2,3 She married first Joshua Leavett Mason.⁴ She married second Jacob Jenkins.

Royal Almeron Sackett, known as Almeron, son of Royal Sacket and Eunice Hastings, was born in Southwick, Hampden County, Massachusetts^G, on 24 February 1823.^1,2 He died aged 80 in Milton, Norfolk County, Massachusetts^G, on 1 May 1903² and was buried at Milton Cemetery^G.^5,6 He married in Westfield, Hampden County^G, on 29 November 1843, Sophia Holcomb, daughter of Hial Holcomb and Sophia Loomis.^3,4 Sophia was born in Westfield^G in 1824.^5,7,8 She died aged 70 in Milton, Norfolk County, Massachusetts^G, on 17 May 1894 and was buried at Milton Cemetery^G.^5,9
     In 1850 Royal was living in Westfield^G in the household of Marvin Loomis, a whip maker, and was recorded in the census as Almera [sic] Sacket, a whip maker, aged 28 and born in Massachusetts.¹⁰ His wife Sophia, 26, was living with her parents Hial and Sophia in their boarding house.¹¹
     In March 1859 Almeron, then of Southwick, was impaneled as a supernumerary (reserve juryman) at the Hampden County Court of Common Pleas.¹²
     In 1860 he was living in Westfield^G and was recorded as Almeron B Sacket, a cigar manufacturer, aged 37 and born in Massachusetts. Living with him were his wife Sophia, 36, and their daughter Franciana, 14.¹³
     Royal registered for the Civil War draft in Hampden County^G in June 1863. He was a peddler of Westfield, married, aged 29 [presume error for 39] and born in Hampden County.¹⁴
     In 1870 he was living in New Bedford, Bristol County, Massachusetts^G, and was recorded as Almeron Sacket, a trader, aged 46. Living with him were his wife Sophia, 45, and their daughter Fanny, 24.¹⁵
     Almeron was the unsuccessful defendant in a court action at Fall River, Bristol County^G, on 31 March 1873 concerning the possession of premises under the landlord and tenant laws.¹⁶
     In 1880 he was living in Milton^G in the household of his daughter Fanny and son-in-law Merrill Brown, and was recorded as Almeron Sackett, a farmer, aged 57. His wife Sophia, 56, was living with him.¹⁷
     In 1900 he was living at Pleasant Street, Milton^G, and was recorded as Almeron R Sackett, a widower, aged 77. Living with him were his daughter Fannie, 54, her husband John M Brown, 62, and their children, Merrill, 22, and Maud, 12.¹⁸
