Burr Russell Sackett, son of Filertus Sackett and Caroline Sophia (O'Rear) Jemison, was born in Kansas City, Jackson County, MissouriG, on 3 April 1882.1,2,3 He died aged 80 in St Petersburg, Pinellas County, FloridaG, on 13 July 1962.4,5,6 He married first about 1905, Bertha ___.1 Bertha was born in KansasG about 1883.1 He married second in Dubuque County, IowaG, on 3 February 1915, Ruth Helena Hunter, daughter of Peter Hunter and Mary Malone.7 Ruth was born in Kansas CityG about 1893.2 He married third before 1930, Cornelia Muriel Gridley, daughter of Charles E Gridley and Cynthia A Mote.8 Cornelia was born in MichiganG on 14 February 1876.1,9,10 She died aged 91 on 15 April 1967.9,10,11
In 1900 Burr was living at Main Street, Butler, Bates County, MissouriG, in the household of his widowed mother Caroline, and was recorded in the census as Burr R Sackett, aged 17 and born in Missouri.12

Burr R. Sackett, 80, formerly of Kansas City, died yesterday at the Masonic home in St. Petersburg, Fla. He was born in Butler, Mo., and lived here about 30 years. Mr. Sackett had lived in Florida 30 years. He was a retired sewing machine salesman. He was a member of the Shrine. His wife Mrs. Muriel Sackett of the Masonic home survives. Services will be held at 3 o'clock today in St. Petersburg; burial in Tampa, Fla.

Harry D. Sackett, age 88, of Gainesville, FL, died on May 6, 2004, in the North Florida Rehab. and Specialty Care Center, Gainesville. He was the husband of Mary L. (Wampler) Sackett for 64 years. Born in Kansas City, MO, he was the son of the late Harry M. and Nancy (Dyer) Sackett. He was a graduate of Paseo High School and was a member of Swope Park Masonic Lodge #617 and was an Elder of the Linwood United Presbyterian Church. He served in the U.S. Navy as a cinematographer in Washington, D.C., during World War II. He was a Life Member of the Johnson County Chapter #34 of the Disabled American Veterans, holding all the Kansas State offices including State Commander. Harry was a member of the American Federation of Musicians for over 60 years. He owned a photographic company, Sackett Color Productions. He and his wife, Mary, moved to Gainesville, FL, one year ago from Shawnee Mission, KS. Along with his wife, Mary, he is survived by sons, Gary of High Springs, FL, and Larry of Williston, FL and daughter, Carol Sackett of San Franciso, CA. He is also survived by one grandson, six granddaughters, and two great-grandsons. A Funeral Service of Remembrance was held on Monday, May 10, 2004, at the Forest Lawn Funeral Home, Ocala, FL, with the Reverend Benson Cain of the Faith Presbyterian Church, Gainesville, FL, followed by interment in the Forest Lawn Memory Gardens, Ocala, FL.

Buell Arthur Sackett, son of Harry Edward Sackett and Lena Bryce, was born in Winters, Yolo County, CaliforniaG, on 12 March 1915.1 He died aged 79 in Yolo County, CaliforniaG, on 28 February 19952,3,4,5 and was buried at Winters CemeteryG.7 He married in 1946, Theresa Olivia Gonzales.6 Theresa was born about 1921.8,9 She died aged 103 in Yuba City, Sutter County, CaliforniaG, on 25 July 2024.10
In 1920 Buell was living at Union Street, Alameda, Alameda County, CaliforniaG, in the household of his parents Harry and Lena, and was recorded in the census as Buel A Sackett, aged four and born in California.11
In 1930 he was living at 407 North East Street, WintersG, in the household of his parents Harry and Lena, and was recorded as Buel A Sackett, aged 14.12
In 1940 he was living in WintersG in the household of his parents Harry and Lena, and was recorded as Buel Sackett, a farm cultivator, aged 25.13
Buell completed a World War II draft registration card on 16 October 1940. He was aged 25 and was self-employed. He was living in WintersG. His mother Lena was next of kin.14
