Walter Orland Sackett, son of George Steven Sackett and Phoebe Levisa Potter, was born in Martin County, Minnesota^G, on 6 February 1888.¹ He died aged 38 in Rochester, Olmsted County, Minnesota^G, on 2 June 1926^2,1 and was buried at Evergreen Cemetery, Mantorville, Dodge County, Minnesota^G. He married in Dodge County^G on 6 October 1915, Louise Marie Burzlaff, daughter of William F Burzlaff and Marie ___.^1,3 Louise was born in Clinton, Clinton County, Iowa^G, on 9 December 1893.³ She died in Rochester^G on 13 March 1959³ and was buried at Evergreen Cemetery, Mantorville^G.
     In 1900 Walter was living in Cherry Grove^G in the household of his parents George and Phoebe, and was recorded in the census as Walter O Sackett, aged twelve and born in Minnesota.⁴
     In 1910 he was living in Concord, Dodge County, Minnesota^G, in the household of his brother Edward, and was recorded as Walter Sacket, a farm laborer, aged 22 and born in Minnesota.⁵
     Walter completed a World War I draft registration card on 5 June 1917. He was married, aged 29, and was living in Mantorville, Dodge County^G. He was a self-employed farmer.⁶

William Walter Sackett, son of Walter Orland Sackett and Louise Marie Burzlaff, was born in Mantorville, Dodge County, Minnesota^G, on 13 June 1918.¹ He died aged 92 in Saint Mary's Hospital, Rochester, Olmsted County, Minnesota^G, on 19 March 2011.¹ He married at Dodge Center, Dodge County, Minnesota^G, on 9 January 1943, Delores LaJune Hoffman.¹

William Frank "Willie" Sackett, son of Elton Sackett and Nellie Sofia Birch, was born in Winnebago, Faribault County, Minnesota^G, on 22 April 1890.¹ He died aged 58 in Faribault County^G on 9 May 1948² and was buried at Nashville Cemetery, Truman, Martin County, Minnesota^G.⁴ He married at Minnesota Lake, Faribault County^G, on 2 August 1908, Eunice Annabelle "Annie" Ellisen.³ Eunice was born in Minnesota^G on 17 July 1891.⁴ She died aged 77 in Stanislaus County, California^G, on 24 November 1968^5,6 and was buried at Nashville Cemetery, Truman, Martin County, Minnesota^G.⁴
     In 1900 William was living in Shelby, Blue Earth County, Minnesota^G, in the household of his parents Elton and Nellie, and was recorded in the census as Willie Q Sacket, aged ten and born in Minnesota.⁷
     In 1910 he was living in Nashville, Martin County, Minnesota^G, and was recorded as William F Sackett, a tiler, head of household, aged 19. Living with him were his wife Annabelle, 18, their son Bernard, aged nine months, and William's brother Clarence, 13.⁸

     In 1920 he was living at Cleveland Street, Winnebago^G, and was recorded as Willie Sackett, a farm laborer, head of household, aged 29. He rented his home. Living with him were his wife Annie, 28, and their children, Bernie, 10, Fenton, 6, and Glee, aged five.⁹
     In 1930 he was living at Blue Earth Avenue, Winnebago^G, and was recorded as Willie F Sackett, a road laborer, head of household, aged 39. He rented his home. Living with him were his wife Annabelle, 38, and their children, Bernie, 20, Fenton, 17, Glee, 15, Lee, 8, and Valo, aged ten months.¹⁰
     William completed a World War II draft registration card in 1942. He was aged 52 and was living in Winnebago^G with his wife Eunice.¹¹
