     In 1930 Edward was living at Bacon, Charlotte County, Virginia^G, in the household of his parents Berkley and Beatrice, and was recorded in the census as Edward D Adams, aged eleven and born in Virginia.²

Rhea Lansing Adams Sr, son of Berkley Dickenson Adams and Beatrice Nan "Bee" Sackett, was born in Richmond, Virginia^G, on 11 August 1924.¹ He died aged about 71 in 1995.¹ He married on 9 February 1946, Lucy Nelson Broocks.¹ Lucy was born in Chase City, Virginia^G, on 10 October 1925.¹ She died aged about 71 in 1996.¹

Nellie Elizabeth Sackett, daughter of Thomas Alfred Sackett and Eleanor Violet Bubb, was born in Ospringe, Kent^G, on 25 February 1900^1,2,3 and baptized there on 8 April 1900.⁴ She died aged 72 in Hailsham, Sussex^G, on 27 November 1972.^5,6 She married in Thanet, Kent^G, on 1 May 1920, James Valentine Mott.^1,7,8 James was born in Thanet, Kent^G, on 21 November 1896^5,9 and died aged 86 in Trowbridge, Wiltshire^G, on 23 October 1983.^5,10
     In 1911 Nellie was living at 16 St John's Road, Margate, Kent^G, in the household of her grandparents Thomas and Harriet Sackett, and was recorded in the census as Nellie Elizabeth Sackett, a schoolgirl, aged eleven and born in Ospringe, Kent.¹¹

Marjorie Rose Eleanor Mott, daughter of James Valentine Mott and Nellie Elizabeth Sackett, was born in Thanet, Kent^G, on 21 July 1921.^1,2 She married on 28 March 1943, Robert Kenneth Prescott.¹
     Marjorie proved her grandfather Thomas Alfred Sackett's will on 27 November 1945. His estate was valued at £2,095.³
