Allison Butts, son of George F Butts and Eliza D Case, was born on 2 October 1852.1 He married first on 14 December 1876, Phebe D Mosher, daughter of Allen A Mosher.1 He married second on 16 September 1885, Arrie E Mosher, daughter of Alfred Mosher.2
[Allison] Butts was born on a farm in the town of Stanford, Dutchess County, N. Y., Oct. 2, 1852. His ancestors came from New England, being descendants of the Plymouth colony. He was educated in the public schools of his native town and at Pelham Institute, in Poughkeepsie. At the age of twenty he began teaching. In 1874 he went to Poughkeepsie and took a position in the County Clerk's office, and was soon promoted to the office of Deputy County Clerk, which he held through both Republican and Democratic administrations until 1881, when, having studied law and been admitted to the bar, he resigned and commenced the practice of law in Poughkeepsie. He has attained high rank in his profession and has successfully conducted many important cases. In municipal affairs he has served upon various city boards, and is now a member of the Board of Education of the city of Poughkeepsie. He has served in many positions of trust relating to estates and financial affairs; was treasurer of the Hudson River State Hospital for the Insane from 1890 to 1902, and in 1907 was a director of the Farmers and Manufacturers National Bank of Poughkeepsie.

Ralph Fanning Butts, son of Allison Butts and Phebe D Mosher, was born on 6 April 1878.1 He married Harriett V A Tripp.1
[Ralph F. Butts] attended Riverview Military Academy and was graduated from that institution in the year 1895. He then entered the Phillips-Exeter Academy and was graduated from there 1896. He then entered Harvard College and graduated with the degree of A. M. in the year 1900, after which he attended the Albany Law School and graduated in the year 1902. He was admitted to the bar in 1902 and immediately commenced the practice of his chosen profession in Poughkeepsie. Mr. Butts is a good public speaker and is very popular in his native city and county and occupies a leading position among the younger members of the Bar. He was appointed Assistant District Attorney for the term commencing January 1, 1907.

Edward Elgar Sackett, son of Thomas Elgar Sackett and Elizabeth Ann Hawkins, was born in Blauvelt, New York StateG, on 2 December 1861.2 He died aged 84 in Englewood, New JerseyG, on 10 December 1945.2 He married in EnglewoodG on 31 March 1885, Maria Banta.2 Maria was born in Tenafly, New JerseyG, on 2 August 18652 and died aged 81 in EnglewoodG on 12 August 1946.2

     Blanche travelled to England in 1923, staying in London at Claridges Hotel. She arrived in Southampton from New York on the Majestic on 7 September 1923.3 She visited England again, arriving in Southampton from New York on the Homeric on 25 July 1925.4

     In 1930 she was living at Bacon, Charlotte County, VirginiaG, in the household of her husband Berkley, 55, a farmer, and was recorded as Beatrice S Adams, aged 40. Living with them were their children, Edward, 11, Gordon, 8, and Rhea, aged six. Also in the household were Berkley's son Joseph, 31, by his first marriage, and a female boarder.3
