Electa Maria Chapman, daughter of Samuel S Chapman and Mary Johnson Sackett, was born on 14 November 1854.1 She married on 8 November 1874, Edgar Atkins, son of Elisha Atkins and Lucy L Cushing.1 Edgar was born in 18481 and died aged about 49 in 1897.1
     In 1860 Electa was living in Laona, IllinoisG, in the household of her grandparents Isaac and Mary Sackett, and was recorded in the census as Mariah Chapman, aged six and born in Illinois. She was living with her parents Samuel and Mary.2

Harriet Sweetser Sackett, for seventeen years previous to her marriage, was Director of the Department of Domestic Science and Art at Pratt Institute, Brooklyn, N. Y. Upon her marriage the Trustees of Pratt, in recognition of her faithful and intelligent services, presented her with a $500.00 bill, enclosed within suitably inscribed gold and pearl mounted purse. In 1907 Mr. and Mrs. Dewey resided at Rutherford, N. J.

[Edith Sackett] studied art in New York, Brooklyn and Paris, and has been teaching drawing and color in relation to costume, at Pratt Institute, Brooklyn, N. Y., since 1897. In 1892 Miss Sackett became a member of The Mother Church Scientists, of Boston, Mass.

George Olney Sackett, son of George Henry Sackett and Sarah Sweetser Sheldon, was born in BrooklynG on 12 November 1863.1 He died aged 66 in Providence, Rhode IslandG, on 6 October 19302 and was buried at Swan Point Cemetery, ProvidenceG.2 He married there on 24 April 1888, Anna Josephine Benson.1 She was born in 18673 and died aged about 84 in ProvidenceG on 18 February 1951.3 She was buried at Swan Point CemeteryG.3
     George graduated BS from the Polytechnic Institute of Brooklyn, NY in 1882. He was for several years superintendent for the Kendall Manufacturing Company, soap manufacturers, of Providence, Rhode Island.4
     George, with his wife Anna and son Nelson, visited England in 1923, travelling cabin class on the President Adams and arriving in London from New York on 11 June 1923.5
