Benjamin Richard Sackett, a wholesale hosier's clerk, son of Rev Benjamin Sackett and Elizabeth Lee, was born in Elham, KentG, on 15 February 1860.1,2 He died aged 89 at home at Rowanhurst, 20 St Leonard's Road, Hythe, KentG, on 21 September 1949.3,4 He married in ElhamG in 1885, Frances Sarah Horton.5 She was born about 1858 and died aged 77 in ElhamG in 1935.6
In 1861 Benjamin was living at Chapel Street, Hythe, KentG, and was recorded in the census as Benjamin Sackett, aged one, born in Hythe, Kent, in the household of his grandfather Richard Lee. (Benjamin would have been in the temporary care of his grandparents as his mother Elizabeth had given birth two weeks before the census date (7 April 1861) to a daughter Sarah A.)7
In 1871 he was living at Fern Lane, Heston, MiddlesexG, and was recorded as Benjamin Richard Sackett, a scholar, aged 11, born in Hythe, the son of Benjamin Sackett.8

Benjamin left a will which was proved on 16 December 1949 by his daughter Emily. His estate was valued at £6,314.19

Rev George Whitefield Sackett, Independent Congregational minister, son of Rev Benjamin Sackett and Elizabeth Lee, was born in Langford, OxfordshireG, on 26 March 1873.1,2 He died aged 82 at home at Wood Lynne, Stocksbridge, Sheffield, YorkshireG, on 28 March 1955.3,2,4 He married first in St George in the East, LondonG, in 1902, Elizabeth Finlay Kingston.5 She was born about 18738 and died aged 63 in 1936.2,9 He married second in Wortley, YorkshireG, in 1937, Mary Hannah Jubb.6,7,2
George Whitfield Sackett (who was surely named after George Whitfield (or Whitefield), the evangelist and a founder of Methodism) served in a number of English parishes during his ministry—Paton, Nottingham, 1899–1902; St Mary's, Morley, Yorkshire (assistant), 1902–05; Todmorden, Yorkshire, 1905–12; Netherfield, Penistone, Yorkshire, 1913–18; South Ockenden, Essex 1919–24; Wisbech, Cambridgeshire, 1924–29; and Stocksbridge, Sheffield, Yorkshire, 1929–47. In 1918–19 he was engaged in Army work with the Young Men's Christian Association in Salonica, Greece.2

John Wesley Sackett, son of Rev Benjamin Sackett and Elizabeth Lee, was born in Langford, OxfordshireG, in 1875.1,2 He died aged 57 at home at 33 Pendle Road, Streatham, LondonG, on 4 October 19323,4 and was buried at Hornchurch Cemetery, EssexG, on 7 October 1932.7 He married at St George in the East, LondonG, in 1898, Ada Wiles, daughter of Thomas Wiles and Martha ___.5,6 Ada was born in St George in the East, LondonG, on 23 July 1875.8,9,10 She died aged 81 at home at 279 Leigham Court Road, Streatham, LondonG, on 3 December 195611,4 and was buried at Hornchurch Cemetery, EssexG, on 7 December 1956.12

Annie Catherine Dowker Sackett, daughter of Rev Benjamin Sackett and Elizabeth Lee, was born in Brentford, MiddlesexG, in 1868.1 She died aged 87 on 24 January 1956.2 She married at St George in the East, MiddlesexG, on 4 September 1894, Edward Baylis, son of James Daniel Baylis and Elizabeth Matilda Hallam.3,4,5 Edward was born about 1865.2 He died on 11 April 1937.2
