     In 1911 Winifred was living at 14 Beaumont Street, Todmorden, YorkshireG, in the household of her parents George and Elizabeth, and was recorded in the census as Winifred Sackett, aged six and born in Morley.5
     In 1921 she was living at The Manse, South Ockendon, EssexG, in the household of her parents George and Elizabeth, and was recorded as Winifred Sackett, a shorthand typist at the Baptist Missionary Society, aged 16.6

George C Smith, son of Alfred William Smith and Katherine Sackett, was born in Canterbury, KentG, about 1887.1,2 He was killed in action during the First World War in the DardanellesG on 7 August 1915.3
     In 1891 George was living at 6 Myrtle Terrace, Canterbury, KentG, in the household of his parents Alfred and Katherine, and was recorded in the census as George C Smith, aged three and born in Canterbury.4
     In 1901 he was living at 10 Burrow Road, Folkestone, KentG, in the household of his brother Francis and sister-in-law Florence, and was recorded as George C Smith, an office boy, aged 13.5
