George Young Sackett, son of Jabez Sackett and Sarah Anne "Annie" Young, was born in Waltham, Caistor, Lincolnshire^G, on 13 May 1875.^1,2,3 He died aged 74 in Hull, Yorkshire^G, in 1950.⁴ He married in Sculcoates, Yorkshire^G, in 1898, Catherine Rebecca "Kate" Garner, daughter of ___ Garner and ___ Lovell.⁵ Catherine was born in Garthorpe, Lincolnshire^G, on 27 June 1874.^6,3 She died aged 89 in Barkston Ash, Yorkshire, England^G, in 1963.⁷
     In 1881 George was living at North Gate, Walkington, Yorkshire^G, and was recorded in the census as George Y Sackett, a scholar, aged five and born in Waltham, Lincoln, son of Jabez Sackett.⁸
     In 1891 he was living at 43 Paisley Street, Newington, Sculcoates, West Hull, Yorkshire^G, in the household of his mother Sarah., and was recorded as George Y Sackett, a fire engine cleaner, aged 16, and born in Waltham.⁹

     In 1921 he was living at 267 Alliance Avenue, Hull^G, and was recorded as George Young Sackett, a railway engine driver on the Hull & Barnsley line, head of household, aged 46. Living with him were his wife Catherine, 46, and their children, Kittybelle, 19, and Sarah, aged 17.¹⁴
     At the outbreak of the Second World War in September 1939, George and Catherine were living at 267 Alliance Avenue, Kingston-upon-Hull, Yorkshire^G. George was a locomotive engineman.¹⁵

George Langdale Sackett, son of Frederick Sackett and Florence Langdale, was born at Les Sauvagees, St Sampson's, Guernsey^G, on 2 December 1897.¹ He died aged 20 in France^G on 24 December 1917.^2,3,4 He was buried in the Heudicourt Cemetery, Somme^G.²

     George served as a Lance Corporal in the East Yorkshire Regiment during the First World War. He was killed in action on the Somme.^7,8

Edgar Cyril Sackett, son of Thomas Edward Sackett and Florence Edith Le Page, was born at Les Ozouets, St Peter Port, Guernsey^G, on 20 April 1902.^1,2 He died aged 91 in Hoylake, Wirral, Cheshire^G, on 9 December 1993.^3,4,5 He married on 11 May 1929, Doris Clara Senior, daughter of Albert Edward Senior and Theresa Bullivant.^3,6,7 Doris was born in Derby^G on 26 March 1902.^8,9,10 She died aged 75 in Manchester, Lancashire^G, in 1977.¹¹
     In 1921 Edgar was living at 45 Dorset Avenue, Moss Side, South Manchester, Lancashire^G, in the household of his parents Thomas and Florence, and was recorded in the census as Edgar Cyril Sackett, aged 19, a junior clerk at the Manchester Education Committee.¹²
     At the outbreak of the Second World War in September 1939, Edgar and Doris were living at 48 Homeshead Crescent, Manchester, Lancashire^G. Edgar was clerk to the education committee.¹³
     Edgar proved his brother Roland's will on 28 August 1963. His estate was valued at £4,782.¹⁴
     Edgar left a will which was proved in Birmingham, Warwickshire^G, on 8 April 1994.⁵

Roland Burt Sackett, son of Thomas Edward Sackett and Florence Edith Le Page, was born at Rohais de Bas, St Andrew's, Guernsey^G, on 1 May 1906.¹ He died aged 57 at home at 21 Rose Vale, Heald Green, Cheshire, England^G, on 18 June 1963.^2,3,4 He married in Manchester, Lancashire^G, in 1936, Lucy Bowler, daughter of ___ Chappell.^5,6 Lucy was born in Chorlton, Lancashire^G, on 24 May 1910⁷ and died aged 92 in Stockport, Lancashire^G, in December 2002.⁸

     In 1921 she was living at 2 Paris Street, St Peter Port, Guernsey^G, and was recorded as Annie Marr, head of household, married, aged 51. Her widowed father Jabez Sackett, 80, was living with her. Annie's son Sidney was listed but the entry was then deleted. He was a visitor in the household of his future wife Florence Barnes.¹⁵

Dorothy Sackett, daughter of Alfred James Sackett and Millian "Millie" Davies, was born in Prestwich, Lancashire^G, in 1891¹ and died there in infancy on 7 February 1892.²

     In 1921 he was living at 2 Suffolk Terrace, Suffolk Street, Sculcoates^G, and was recorded as Frederick Sackett, a warehouseman at a paint manufacturers, head of household, aged 49. Living with him were his wife Florence, 45, and their children, Lettie, 26, and Robert, aged 16.¹⁴

Wilsie John Sutton, son of Edward Sutton and Emma Collins, was born in Brynmawr, Breconshire, Wales^G, on 22 May 1882.^1,2 He died aged 63 in Bedwellty, Monmouthshire, Wales^G, in March 1947.³ He married at Crickhowell, Breconshire^G, in 1907, Elizabeth Hannah Jones, daughter of James Jones and Mary Evans.⁴
     In 1891 Wilsie was living in LLanelly, Breconshire^G, in the household of his parents Edward and Emma, and was recorded in the census as Wilsie J Sutton, aged eight and born in Brynmawr, Breconshire.⁵
     In 1901 he was living at 30 Somerset Street, Brynmawr^G, in the household of his parents Edward and Emma, and was recorded as Willie Sutton, a coal miner, aged 19.⁶
     In 1911 he was living at 29 Garn Road, Nantyglo^G, and was recorded as Wilsie John Sutton, a day labourer below ground, aged 28 and born in Brynmawr. Living with him were his wife Elizabeth, 26, and their daughter Ivy Dorothea, aged two.⁷

     Wilsie and Elizabeth, then at Gwalia Buildings, King Street, Brynmawr^G, were listed on the register of electors in 1931.⁹
