     In 1850 Theron was living in HanoverG and was recorded in the census as T Sackett, a farmer, aged 50 and born in New York. Living with him were his wife Flora, 41, and their children, Norman, 20, Irwin [Irving], 15, Julia, 9, Ann, 5, and Harriet, aged two.11
     In 1860 he was living in HanoverG and was recorded as Theron Sackett, a farmer, aged 59. Living with him were his wife Catharine, 52, and his children by his previous marriage, Irving, 25, Julia, 19, Ann, 15, and Harriet, aged twelve. Theron's farm, comprising 140 acres of improved land and 40 acres unimproved, was valued at $6,000.      John was listed in the 1840 census as a householder in Hanover, Chautauqua County, New York StateG.6
     In 1850 John was living in Benton, Yates County, New York StateG, and was recorded in the census as John Sackett, a farmer, aged 41 and born in New York. Living with him were his wife Jane, 36, and their children, George, 16, Cynthia, 14, Dudley, 8, Chauncey, 4, and William, aged one.7
     In 1860 he was living in Sciota, Dakota County, MinnesotaG, and was recorded as John Sackett, a farmer, aged 50. Living with him were his wife Jane, 46, and their children, Dudley, 18, Chauncey, 15, and William, aged eleven.8
     In 1870 he was living in Northfield, Rice County, MinnesotaG, and was recorded as John Sackett, a hotel keeper, aged 61. Living with him were his wife Jane, 55, and their children, Dudley, 28, and William, 21.9
     In 1880 he was living in NorthfieldG and was recorded as John Sackett, head of household, aged 72. His wife Jane, 65, was living with him.10
     John died intestate. His son Dudley P Sackett was appointed administrator of the estate by the Martin County Probate Court on 27 August 1894. Heirs were John's surviving children, Mrs Cynthia E Otis, 58, of Petaluma, Sonoma County, California, Dudley P Sackett, 52, of Fairmont, and William E Sackett, 46, of St Paul, Ramsey County, Minnesota. Appraisers valued John's dwelling house in Fairmont Village at $700 and various other lots at $190. In a final decree dated 17 January 1899 the real estate was assigned to the three heirs.5

     In 1850 Julia was living in Newfane, Niagara County, New York StateG, in the household of her sister Cynthia and brother-in-law Dexter Ward, and was recorded in the census as Julia Latham, aged 38 and born in New York. Her daughter Alice, aged two months, was living with her.3
     In 1860 she was living in Pomfret, Chautauqua County, New York StateG, and was recorded as Julia Latham, aged 45, housekeeper in the household of Erastus Derby. Her daughter Alice, aged nine, was living with her.4
     Julia left a will (copy not filed) which was proved at the Mayville, Chautauqua County, Probate Court on 12 May 1884 by her brother Hiram Sackett.5

     In 1850 Minerva was living in Chenango, Broome County, New York StateG, in the household of her husband Covil Case, 44, a farmer, and was recorded in the census as Minerva Case, aged 37 and born in New York. Living with them were their children, Girard, 16, George, 14, Elizabeth, 12, and Sacket, aged seven.4
