Mindwell Sacket, daughter of Benoni Sacket and Mindwell Smith, was born in Westfield, Hampden County, MassachusettsG, on 15 February 1732/331,2,3 and baptized at the Church of Christ, WestfieldG, on 18 February 1732/33.4 She died aged 34 in 1767.5 She married in WestfieldG on 10 July 1755, Eli Root, son of Ensign Joseph Root and Sarah ___.1,5,6 After Mindwell's death, Eli Root married, in 1772, Experience Kellogg of Hadley. Eli was born in WestfieldG on 27 February 1731.5 He died aged 73 on 28 October 18045 and was buried at Pontoosuc Hill, Pittsfield Cemetery, Pittsfield, Berkshire County, MassachusettsG.5 Eli served in the American Revolutionary War.5
