Timandra Jane Sackett, daughter of David Sackett and Lydia Greenfield, was born in Fairfield, Herkimer County, New York StateG, on 27 December 1810.1,2 She died aged 51 in Fredonia, Chautauqua County, New York StateG, on 10 April 1862 and was buried at Forest Hill Cemetery, FredoniaG.2 She married in FredoniaG on 24 December 1833, Emory Force Warren, son of Peter Warren and Anna Force.3 Emory was born in Easton, Washington County, New York StateG, on 16 November 1810.2 He died aged 84 in FredoniaG on 23 March 1895 and was buried at Forest Hill CemeteryG.2,4

Fredonla, N. Y., March 24.—Judge Emory Warren, a well-known pioneer of Western New York, died last night, aged 84. Mr. Warren was a resident of Chautauqua county since 1819. He was a member of the state legislature in 1841 and 1842.

Clyde Herbert Sackett, son of George Henry Sackett and Ella Louisa Woodward, was born in MichiganG on 30 July 1893.1,2,3 He died in Grand Rapids, Kent County, MichiganG, on 19 February 19724,5,6 and was buried at Oakhill Cemetery, Grand RapidsG.7,8 He was unmarried.
     In 1900 Clyde was living at Cedar Creek, Wexford County, MichiganG, in the household of his parents George and Ella, and was recorded in the census as Clyde Sackett, aged six and born in Michigan.9
     In 1910 he was living at Cedar CreekG in the household of his mother Ella and grandmother Annie Woodward, and was recorded as Clyde Sackett, aged 16.10
     Clyde completed a World War I draft registration card on 5 June 1917. He was single, aged 23, and was employed as a clerk. He claimed exemption as a member of the Quaker Church.11
     Clyde served in the US National Army during the First World War. He enlisted at Cleveland, Ohio, on 20 September 1917. After training in the School for Bakers and Cooks at Sherman, Ohio, he was a Sergeant in the Quartermaster Corps. He was honorably discharged on 28 April 1919.12
     In 1920 he was living at Quincy Street, Washington, DCG, and was recorded as Clyde H Sackett, a clerk in the War Department, aged 26.13
     In 1930 he was living at Cogswell Avenue, Walker, Kent County, MichiganG, in the household of his mother Ella, and was recorded as Clyde H Sackett, a machinist in an elevator factory, single, aged 36.14
     In 1940 he was living at Cogswell Street, WalkerG, in the household of his mother Ella, and was recorded as Clyde Sackett, a welder in an iron works, aged 46, single.15
     Clyde was listed in the Grand Rapids City Directory in 1941. He was a welder at Leitelt Iron Works (where his brother Glenn was Secretary & Treasurer).16
     Clyde completed a World War II draft registration card on 27 April 1942. He was aged 48, living at 903 Cogswell StreetG, and was employed at the Leitelt Iron Works.17
     Clyde was at the same address in 1950, living with his mother Ella. He was aged 56, never married, and was an overseer of the boiler shop at an iron works.18,16

George Henry Sackett, son of Richard Henry Sackett and Mary Ellen Bosley, was born in Valparaiso, Porter County, IndianaG, on 12 December 1865.1 He died aged 64 in Muskegon, MichiganG, on 21 June 1930.2 He married first in Manton, Wexford County, MichiganG, on 24 January 1891, Ella Louisa Woodward, daughter of Abram Woodward Jr and Ann Eliza Littlefield.3,4 They divorced in Wexford CountyG on 3 October 1907.6 Ella was born in Grand Rapids, Kent County, MichiganG, on 18 August 1870.7,8 She died aged 91 in Grand RapidsG on 15 July 1962 and was buried at Oakhill Cemetery, Grand RapidsG.8 She did not remarry. George married second in MantonG on 29 January 1909, Mina A (Boyd) Beatty, daughter of James Boyd and Mary Jane Davis.5 Mina was born in MichiganG about 1879.9 After George's death, Mina married Lewis B Wissinger, a Presbyterian Minister, on 28 January 1936.10
     In 1870 George was living in Westchester, Porter County, IndianaG, in the household of his parents Henry and Mary, and was recorded in the census as George Sacket, aged five and born in Indiana.11
     In 1880 he was living in WestchesterG in the household of his parents Henry and Mary, and was recorded as George Sackett, aged 14.12
     In 1900 he was living at Cedar Creek, Wexford County, MichiganG, and was recorded as George Sackett, a fireman at a mill, head of household, aged 34. He owned his home free of mortgage. Living with him were his wife Ella, 29, and their children, Glenn, 8, and Clyde, aged six.13
     In 1910 he was living at Cedar CreekG and was recorded as Geo Sackett, a factory worker, head of household, aged 43. His second wife, Mina, 30, and her daughter Gladys, 9, were living with him.14

     In 1920 Ella was living at Diamond Avenue, Grand RapidsG, with her son Glenn, 27, treasurer at an iron works. Ella's mother Ann Woodward, 80, was also living with them.18,19
     In 1930 George was living at Beidler Street, MuskegonG, and was recorded in the census as George H Sackett, an assistant chemist in a laboratory, head of household, aged 63. His wife Mina, 50, was living with him.20
     In 1930 Ella was living at Cogswell Street, Walker, Kent County, MichiganG. She was listed as Ella L Sackett, head of household, divorced, aged 59. She owned her home. Her unmarried son Clyde, 36, was living with her.21 Ella and her son Clyde were at the same address in 194022,16 and in 1950.23,16

Glenn Woodward Sackett, son of George Henry Sackett and Ella Louisa Woodward, was born in Manton, Wexford County, MichiganG, on 9 November 1891.1,2 He died aged 66 in Grand Rapids, Kent County, MichiganG, on 14 June 19583 and was buried at Woodlawn Cemetery, Grand RapidsG.5 He married in Grand RapidsG on 8 October 1921, Dorothy N Rose, daughter of David J Rose and Clara Lawrence.4 Dorothy was born in Dover, Dutchess County, New York StateG, in 1900. She died on 9 July 1968 and was buried at Woodlawn Cemetery, Grand RapidsG.5
     In 1900 Glenn was living at Cedar Creek, Wexford County, MichiganG, in the household of his parents George and Ella, and was recorded in the census as Glenn Sackett, aged eight and born in Michigan.6
     In 1910 he was living at Cedar CreekG in the household of his mother Ella and grandmother Annie Woodward, and was recorded as Glen Sackett, aged 18.7
     Glenn completed a World War I draft registration card on 5 June 1917. He was aged 25 and was an accountant at Leitelt Iron Works. He was living at 127 Paddock Avenue, Grand Rapids, Kent County, MichiganG, with his mother Ella.8
     In 1920 he was living at Diamond Avenue, Grand RapidsG, and was recorded as Glenn Sackett, treasurer at an iron works, head of household, aged 27. His mother Ella, 50, and Ella's mother Ann Woodward, 80, were living with him.9
     At a meeting of the Davenport-McLachlan Alumni Association in 1926, "Glenn W. Sackett was the principal speaker. He read an article on Personal Efficiency and aptly interpreted his thoughts on the topic. His able presentation of the subject was much appreciated by his listeners."10
     In 1930 he was living at Croswell Avenue, East Grand Rapids, Kent CountyG, and was recorded as Glenn W Sackett, credit manager at an iron works, head of household, aged 38. Living with him were his wife Dorotha, 29, and their daughter Marion, aged seven.11
     In 1940 he was living at Croswell Avenue, East Grand RapidsG, and was recorded as Glenn W Sackett, secretary and treasurer at an iron works, head of household, aged 48. Living with him were his wife Dorothy, 40, and their daughter Joyce, aged 18.12
     Glenn completed a World War II draft registration card on 27 April 1942. He was aged 50 and was employed at the Leitelt Iron Works. He was living at 2725 Maplewood Drive, Grand RapidsG.13
     Glenn was listed in the Grand Rapids City Directory from 1913 when he was a stockkeeper at the Leitelt Iron Works. In 1914 he was a bookkeeper there, in 1917 the office manager, in 1920 the Treasurer. He was the Secretary and Treasurer by 1941 and by 1951 he was the President and Treasurer.14

Grand Rapids — Funeral services will be Tuesday for Glenn W. Sackett, president of the Leitelt Iron Works, who died Saturday.
     Sackett, 67, started with the Grand Rapids firm in 1913 as a stockroom clerk and became president seven years ago.

Richard Henry Sackett, later known as Henry, son of Richard Sackett and Elsie Eighmay, was born in New York StateG on 4 December 1834.1 He died aged 86 in Manton, Wexford County, MichiganG, on 3 November 19212 and was buried at Fairview Cemetery, MantonG.5 He married about 1864, Mary Ellen Bosley, daughter of Richard Bosley and Ann M ___.3,4 Mary was born in IndianaG about 1842.4
     In 1850 Richard was living in Crete, Will County, IllinoisG, in the household of his parents Richard and Elsie, and was recorded in the census as Richard H Sackett, aged 14 and born in New York.6
     In 1860 he was living in Amity, Allegany County, New York StateG, in the household of his parents Richard and Elsie, and was recorded as Henry Sacket, a laborer on the home farm, aged 24.7
     In 1870 he was living in Westchester, Porter County, IndianaG, and was recorded as Henry Sacket, a day laborer, aged 33. Living with him were his wife Mary, 28, and their children, George, 5, and Charles, aged one. There were also two Bosley children in the household.8
     In 1880 he was living in WestchesterG and was recorded as Henry Sackett, a worker in a sawmill, head of household, aged 44. Living with him were his wife Mary, 37, and their children, George, 14, Charles, 11, Willie, 7, Elsie, 5, and Richard, aged one. Mary's sister Nettie Bosley, 22, was also in the household.9
     According to son Charles's obituary, Henry and Mary moved with their family from Indiana to Michigan, in 1887. It would appear that Mary had died by 1900 although a record has not been found.
     In 1900 Henry was living at Cedar Creek, Wexford County, MichiganG, and was recorded in the census as Henry Sackett, a farm laborer, head of household, aged 64. He owned his home free of mortgage. Living with him were his children, Charles, 28 [30], Elsie, 25, and June, aged 16.10
     In 1910 he was living at Cedar CreekG and was recorded as Henry Sackett, of independent means, head of household, a widower, aged 74. He owned his home. Living with him were his unmarried children, Charles, 38 [40], and Elsie, 34.11
     In 1920 he was living at Senneth Street, Cedar CreekG, in the household of his son Charles, and was recorded as Henry Sackett, aged 83, a widower.12

     In 1870 Charles was living in Westchester, Porter County, IndianaG, in the household of his parents Henry and Mary, and was recorded in the census as Charles Sacket, aged one and born in Indiana.5
     In 1880 he was living in WestchesterG in the household of his parents Henry and Mary, and was recorded as Charles Sackett, aged eleven.6
     In 1900 he was living in Cedar Creek, Wexford County, MichiganG, in the household of his father Henry, and was recorded as Charles Sackett, a machine hand in a planing mill, aged 28 [probably 31], single.7
     In 1910 he was living at Cedar CreekG in the household of his widowed father Henry, and was recorded as Charles Sackett, a teamster at a cast block factory, aged 38 [40], single.8
     In 1920 he was living at Senneth Street, Cedar CreekG, and was recorded as Charles Sackett, a teamster in a produce business, head of household, aged 48. His widowed father Henry, 83, was living with him.9
     In 1930 he was living at South Michigan Avenue, Manton, Wexford County, MichiganG, and was recorded as Charles C Sackett, a laborer, head of household, aged 58, single. He owned his home.10

Cadillac—Charles Clarence Sackett, 67, Manton, died Thursday in Traverse City hospital. A heart attack suffered three days ago caused his death.
     Mr. Sackett was born Sept. 2, 1870, in Chesterton, Ind. He moved to Manton with his parents in 1887 and for the last five years he had made his home with his sister, Mrs. H. B. Epelylin [sic] in Manton. He also is survived by two nephews and one niece.
     Services will be held at 2 Sunday at the Muche chapel, Manton, with burial in Manton cemetery.
