George Henry Sackett, son of Richard Henry Sackett and Mary Ellen Bosley, was born in Valparaiso, Porter County, IndianaG, on 12 December 1865.1 He died aged 64 in Muskegon, MichiganG, on 21 June 1930.2 He married first in Manton, Wexford County, MichiganG, on 24 January 1891, Ella Louisa Woodward, daughter of Abram Woodward Jr and Ann Eliza Littlefield.3,4 They divorced in Wexford CountyG on 3 October 1907.6 Ella was born in Grand Rapids, Kent County, MichiganG, on 18 August 1870.7,8 She died aged 91 in Grand RapidsG on 15 July 1962 and was buried at Oakhill Cemetery, Grand RapidsG.8 She did not remarry. George married second in MantonG on 29 January 1909, Mina A (Boyd) Beatty, daughter of James Boyd and Mary Jane Davis.5 Mina was born in MichiganG about 1879.9 After George's death, Mina married Lewis B Wissinger, a Presbyterian Minister, on 28 January 1936.10

She died on 9 July 1968 and was buried at Woodlawn Cemetery, Grand RapidsG.5

Cadillac—Charles Clarence Sackett, 67, Manton, died Thursday in Traverse City hospital. A heart attack suffered three days ago caused his death.
Mr. Sackett was born Sept. 2, 1870, in Chesterton, Ind. He moved to Manton with his parents in 1887 and for the last five years he had made his home with his sister, Mrs. H. B. Epelylin [sic] in Manton. He also is survived by two nephews and one niece.
Services will be held at 2 Sunday at the Muche chapel, Manton, with burial in Manton cemetery.
