Huldah Sacket, daughter of Jonathan Sacket and Hannah/Joanna Sowl, was born in Westfield, Hampden County, Massachusetts^G, about 1799.¹ She died aged 67 in Westfield^G on 5 August 1866.² She married about 1820, Froissard Whipple, son of Joshua Whipple. Froissard was born in Westfield^G about 1799.³ After Huldah's death, Froissard married her sister Julana. He died aged about 75 on 21 March 1875 and was buried at Pine Hill Cemetery, Westfield^G.⁴

     In 1855 Huldah was living in Westfield^G in the household of her husband Froissard Whipple, 56, and was recorded in the census as Hulda Whipple, aged 58. Living with them were their daughter Christina, 17, and Huldah's sister Julianna Sacket, 47.⁶
     In 1860 she was living in Westfield^G in the household of her husband Froissard, 61, and was recorded as Hildah Whipple, aged 61.⁷

Rexaville J Whipple, daughter of Froissard Whipple and Huldah Sacket, was born in Cape Vincent, Jefferson County, New York State^G, about October 1826.¹ She died aged 78 in 70 Court Street, Westfield, Hampden County, Massachusetts^G, on 2 March 1905.² She married Selah B Loomis.

David Franklin Ashley, son of David Ashley 3d and Sophia Brass, was born in Springfield, Hampden County, Massachusetts^G, on 4 June 1815.¹ He died aged 94 on 19 January 1910.¹
     David was named as a beneficiary in the will of his great-aunt Harriet Sacket made in Westfield^G on 29 October 1849. He was left a sum of $250 but, following Harriet's death some years later in 1875 and the realisation of her assets, the sum actually inherited was $625.²
