Walter Roy Watts, son of Charles S Watts and Annie Elizabeth "Lizzie" Kraemer, was born in Spokane, Washington State^G, on 1 July 1907.¹ He died aged 89 at Grants Pass, Josephine County, Oregon^G, on 29 November 1996.¹ He married in Port Angeles, Clallam County, Washington State^G, on 22 October 1931, Clara Mae Porter.¹

Freeman Sackett, son of John Sackett and Abigail Robbins, was born in Massachusetts^G on 4 July 1813.¹ He died aged 54 on 16 March 1868.² He married on 4 July 1835, Elenora Perselia Noble, daughter of Ezekiel Noble and Theodocia Bates.¹ Elenora was born in Penfield, Monroe County, New York^G, on 4 May 1818.¹ She died aged 38 in Chelsea, Washtenaw County, Michigan^G, on 5 May 1856.¹
     In 1850 Freeman was living in Pittsfield, Berkshire County, Massachusetts^G, and was recorded in the census as Freeman Sacket, a carpenter, aged 40 and born in Massachusetts. Living with him were his unnamed wife, 37, and their children, Elmira, 16, Daniel, 12, George, 8, Louisa, 6, and Elvira, aged one.³

Daniel L Sackett, son of Freeman Sackett and Elenora Perselia Noble, was born in Massachusetts^G on 25 December 1837.¹ He died in Dexter, Washtenaw County, Michigan^G, on 11 June 1897. He married about 1860, Ann Jane Hanna. Ann was born in Ann Arbor, Washtenaw County^G, on 28 March 1841. She died aged 82 in Detroit, Wayne County, Michigan^G, on 21 May 1923.

     In 1870 he was living in Dexter, Washtenaw County, Michigan^G, and was recorded as Daniel, a carpenter & joiner, aged 33 and born in Ohio. Living with him were his his wife Ann Jane, 29, and their children, Elnora, 9, Alice, 7, Sherman, 5, and Freeman, aged nine months.⁴
     In 1880 he was living at Dexter^G and was recorded as Daniel Sackett, a carpenter, head of household, aged 42 and born in Ohio. Living with him were his wife Ann, 39, and their children, Ella, 18, Alice, 17, Sherman, 13, Emma, 8, Anna, 4, and Daniel, aged ten months. Also in the household was Ann's brother, James Hanna, 36, a carpenter.⁵

Elnora S Sackett, daughter of Daniel L Sackett and Ann Jane Hanna, was born in Dexter, Washtenaw County, Michigan^G, in 1861.¹ She died aged about 33 in 1894² and was buried at Forest Lawn Cemetery, Dexter^G.³ She married ___ Hollis.²

Daniel Henry Sackett, son of Daniel L Sackett and Ann Jane Hanna, was born in Scio, Washtenaw County, Michigan^G, on 12 August 1879.^1,2 He died aged 71 in Eloise, Wayne County, Michigan^G, on 9 October 1950³ and was buried at Forest Lawn Cemetery, Dexter^G.⁵ He married in Gladwin, Michigan^G, on 10 April 1914, Mary Blanche Vannest, daughter of Turner Vannest and Emma Busch.⁴ Mary was born in Gladwin^G on 5 May 1898.⁶ She died aged 96 in Michigan^G in June 1994 and was buried at Forest Lawn Cemetery, Dexter^G.⁶

     In 1900 he was living at Yerkes Avenue, Northville, Wayne County^G, in the household of Harry Hanna, and was recorded as Daniel Sackett, a factory machine hand, aged 20.⁸
     Daniel completed a World War I draft registration card on 12 September 1918. He was aged 39 and was a munition worker. He was living at 162 First Street, Detroit, Wayne County^G, with his wife Mary.⁹
     In 1920 he was living at 162 First Street, Detroit^G, and was recorded as Daniel Sackett, a factory worker, head of household, aged 41. Living with him were his wife Mary, 22, and their children, Lorraine, 4, Eleanor, 3, and Bernice, aged one. There was also a male lodger in the household.¹⁰
     In 1930 he was living at First Street, Detroit^G, and was recorded as Daniel H Sackett, a punch press operator in an auto factory, head of household, aged 50. He rented his home. Living with him were his wife Mary, 33, and their children, Lorraine, 15, Eleanor, 13, Bessnic [Bernice], 11, Irene, 8, Virginia, 7, Elva, 4, Louis, 2, and James, aged six months.¹¹
     Daniel was listed in the Detroit City Directory in 1928 and 1932. His widow Mary was listed in the East Detroit City Directory in 1954.^12,13
