Abram M Sackett was born in New York State^G about 1832.¹
     In 1860 Abram was living at West Farms, Westchester County, New York State^G, in the household of Jeremiah Sackett, and was recorded in the census as Abram Sackett, aged 28 and born in New York.²
     Abram registered for the Civil War draft in Sussex County, New Jersey^G, on June 1863. He was a laborer of Green Township, aged 27.³
     Abram M Sackett and Jeremiah V Sackett were probably brothers. They were in the same household at West Farms, New York, in 1860, and both registered for the Civil War draft in Green, New Jersey in 1863. Gertrude Sackett, who died in Tranquility, New Jersey, in 1850, may have been a sister. Jeremiah had children, Elizabeth and Richard, in Tranquility in 1852 and 1854. The death of Gertrude Sackett in New Jersey in 1850 is noted also in the records of the Presbyterian Church in Newtown, Long Island, the record naming her father as the late William Sackett. Her parents were therefore William Sackett and Gertrude Meserole. It is noted that Jeremiah also named one of his daughters Gertrude. Although not proved, there is good circumstantial evidence that Jeremiah V Sackett and Abram M Sackett were also children of William Sackett and Gertrude Meserole.

     In 1880 Charles was living at Rumsey Street, Port Jervis, Orange County^G, in the household of his widowed mother Adaline, and was recorded in the census as Charles Miller, aged four and born in New York.²

Florence Lent, daughter of Albert Lent and Julia Sackett, was born in New York State^G about 1867.¹
     In 1870 Florence was living in Saddle River, Bergen County, New Jersey^G, and was recorded in the census as Florence Lent, aged three and born in New York. She was living with her mother Julia in the household of Julia's parents John and Sarah.²

Emma Lent, daughter of Albert Lent and Julia Sackett, was born in New Jersey^G about 1869.¹
     In 1870 she was living at Saddle River, Bergen County, New Jersey^G, and was recorded as Emma Lent, aged one and born in New Jersey. She was living with her mother Julia in the household of Julia's parents John and Sarah.²

Emanuel Sackett, son of Reuben T Sackett and Marie Ann Poiret, was born in Louisiana^G about 1812.¹ He married about 1834, Mary ___. Mary was born in Georgia^G about 1815.¹
     Emanuel was listed in the 1840 census as a householder in Bartholomew, Desha County, Arkansas^G.²
     In 1850 Emanuel was living in Smith, Drew County, Arkansas^G, and was recorded in the census as Emanuel Sacket, a farmer, aged 38 and born in Louisiana. Living with him were his wife Mary, 35, and their children, Larkin, 15, Reuben, 14, John, 11, James, 8, William, 6, Mary, 3, and Martha, aged eight months.³

     In 1850 Larkin was living in Smith, Drew County, Arkansas^G, in the household of his parents Emanuel and Mary, and was recorded in the census as Larkin Sacket, a farmer, aged 15 and born in Arkansas.²

Reuben T Sacket, son of Emanuel Sackett and Mary ___, was born in Arkansas^G about 1836.¹
     In 1850 Reuben was living in Smith, Drew County, Arkansas^G, in the household of his parents Emanuel and Mary, and was recorded in the census as Reuben T Sacket, aged 14 and born in Arkansas.²
