Frederick Augustus Francis, son of Manning Francis and Elizabeth Robbins Root, was born in Pittsfield, Berkshire County, Massachusetts^G, on 13 November 1834.¹ He died aged 53 on 26 May 1888.¹ He married on 26 May 1864, Jessie Ann Stevens.¹

He formally adopted Nancy in 1935 and she changed her name legally to Nancy Davis.¹ She married in Little Brown Church, San Fernando Valley, Los Angeles, California^G, on 4 March 1952, Ronald Reagan, son of John Edward "Jack" Reagan and Nelle Wilson.¹ Ronald Reagan was born in Tampico, Whiteside County, Illinois^G, on 6 February 1911² and died aged 93 on 5 June 2004.²
     Nancy was First Lady of California from 1967 to 1975 during Ronald Reagan's governorship of the state, and First Lady of the United States from 1981 to 1989 during his presidency.¹

Loren Cecil Sackett, son of Theodore Rudolf "Rhode" Sackett and Iona Myrtle Woods, was born on 13 November 1909.¹ He died aged 75 in Indiana^G in January 1985.¹ He married Doris ___.
     In 1910 Loren was living in Miller, Dearborn County, Indiana^G, in the household of his parents Theodore and Iona, and was recorded in the census as Loren Sackett, aged five months and born in Indiana.²
     In 1920 he was living in Miller^G in the household of his parents Theodore and Iona, and was recorded as Lorn C Sackett, aged ten and born in Indiana.³
