Denver Warren Sackett, carpenter, son of Harry Elzy Sackett and Berty Aminta "Minnie" Lyle, was born in DuBois, Clearfield County, PennsylvaniaG, on 24 July 1886.1 He died aged 78 in Ashtabula, OhioG, on 1 January 1965.2,3 He married about 1910, Mae LLoyd.4 Mae was born in Westover, Clearfield County, PennsylvaniaG, about 1892.4,5
     In 1900 Denver was living at Main Road, Village of Syleville, Beccaria, Clearfield County, PennsylvaniaG, in the household of his parents Harry and Minnie, and was recorded in the census as Denver W Sackett, aged 13 and born in Pennsylvania.6
     In 1910 he was living at Irvona, Beccaria Township, Clearfield County, PennsylvaniaG, in the household of his parents Harry and Minnie, and was recorded as Denver Sackett, a coal miner, aged 24.7
     Denver completed a World War I draft registration card on 5 June 1917. He was aged 30, married with two children, and was living in Coalport, Clearfield County, PennsylvaniaG. He was a carpenter employed by Clear Creek Coal Company at Flinton.1
     In 1920 he was living at Main Road to Gateroad, Beccaria, Clearfield County, PennsylvaniaG, and was recorded as Denva Sackett, a house carpenter, head of household, age 33. He rented his home. Living with him were his wife Mae, 27, and their children, Pearl, 7, Robert, 5, and Leroy, aged one.8
     In 1930 he was living at North Ridge East, North Kingsville, Ashtabula County, OhioG, and was recorded as Denver Sacket, a carpenter, head of household, aged 42. He rented his home. Living with him were his wife Mae, 37, and their children, Robert, 15, Leroy, 12, Hazel, 7, Louise, 3, and twins Dorothy and Doris, aged two. Also in the household was Denver's uncle, John, 69.9
     Denver completed a World War II draft registration card on 26 April 1942. He was then aged 55 and was living at 409 Jackson Street, Conneaut, Ashtabula County, OhioG. He was employed as a carpenter.10

     William completed a World War II draft registration card on 16 October 1940. He was aged 32 and was employed by the Victor Hill Coal Company. He was living in CoalportG with his wife Althea.
     In 1950 he was living in BeccariaG and was recorded as William H Sackett, a painter of buildings at a railroad company, aged 41. Living with him were his wife Althea, 40, and their son James, 15.12

William H. Sackett
     Coalport—William Howard Sackett, 55, of 651 Harvor St, Conneaut, Ohio, formerly of Coalport, died this morning in a hospital at Conneaut.
     He is survived by his wife, the former Althea Kline; one daughter, Mrs Harry (Margaret) Frisco of Irvona; a son, James of Conneaut and five grandchildren. Also surviving are five brothers and a sister: Denver, Ashtabula, Ohio; Ray and Earl, both of Johnstown, Clyde, Coalport; Leslie and Mrs. Thomas (Mabel) Renninger, both of Altoona.
     Friends are being received at the Raisins Funeral Home, Harvor Street, Conneaut, where services will be held Monday afternoon at 2 o'clock. Interment will follow at Conneaut.
