Edward Albert Trevor Sackett, an aviation engineer with the Royal Air Force, son of Bertram Edward Sackett and Maisie Millicent Mary Wordsworth, was born in Delhi, Bengal, IndiaG, on 5 December 19211 and baptized at St James Church, DelhiG, in 1922.2 He died aged 87 in AustraliaG on 2 November 2009.1 He married Colleen Elaine Staynor.
     Edward grew up in India and moved to Perth, Western Australia, in 1965.
     Edward's wife Colleen, 29, and their children, Christine, 4, and Stephen, aged one, returned from India to England in 1953, travelling on the Strathmore from Bombay to London, and arriving on 25 October 1953. Their last permanent residence was given as India and they intended to stay permanently in England. Their address in the United Kingdom was 68 Brook Street, Aston Clinton, Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire.3
