Living with him was his wife Emma, aged 28. Also in the household were two female servants: a cook and a general servant.1

William Haddock, son of James Haddock and Jane Sackett, was born in Colchester, EssexG, about 1823.1
     In 1851 William was living at 9 Angel Lane, St Martin's, Colchester, EssexG, in the household of his uncle Jeremiah Haddock, 58, a private banker, and was recorded in the census as William Haddock, a railway clerk, unmarried, aged 27 and born in Colchester. Also in the household were William's sister Jane, 25, and two female servants.2
     In 1861 he was living at West Stockwell Street, St Martin's, ColchesterG, in the household of his uncle Jeremiah Haddock, and was recorded as William Haddock, a bankers' clerk, unmarried, aged 37 and born in Colchester, Essex.3
