Phebe Sackett, daughter of Rev Myron Sackett and Elizabeth Hill, was born in Illinois^G on 30 July 1851.^1,2 She died aged 30 on 22 April 1882 and was buried at Shiloh Cemetery, Heyworth, McLean County, Illinois^G.¹ She married in McLean County^G on 7 September 1873, John C Brown.¹
     In 1860 Phebe was living in Randolph, McLean County, Illinois^G, in the household of her father Myron and stepmother Drucilla, and was recorded in the census as Phebe Sackett, aged nine and born in Illinois.³
     In February 1881, Phebe, who had been living in Kansas and was suffering from consumption, returned with her brother John, to their father's house in Randolph, McLean County, Illinois^G.⁴

Delaney Sackett, possibly a son of Enoch Sackett and Rachel ___, was born presumably in New York State^G between 1810 and 1820. He died probably in Indiana^G, before 1850.¹ He married in Dearborn County, Indiana^G, on 27 December 1838, Charlotte Ann Phelps.^2,3,4 Charlotte was born in New York State^G about 1823.⁵ She died aged 73 in Shelby County, Indiana^G, on 5 April 1897.⁶
     Delaney was listed in the 1840 census as a householder in Kelso, Dearborn County^G. He was aged 20-29. Others in the household were a female, 15-19, who would have been Charlotte, and a male under five who would have been their son Wentworth.⁷
     A record for Delaney in the 1850 census has not been found. Charlotte was then living with Elijah Sacket, who may have been Delaney's brother. Elijah was listed as a cooper, aged 48 and born in New York. Charlotte was stated to be 36 [but was more likely about 26], born in New York, and children in the household were Wentworth, 10, Margaret, 6, William, 5, Mary, 3, and Sarah, aged one.⁸
     Charlotte became a member of the Methodist Church in Greensburg, Decatur County^G, on 3 February 1858 and was baptized there on 22 August 1858.⁹
     In 1860 Charlotte, aged 35, was living in Washington, Decatur County, Indiana^G. Her children, William, 15, Sarah, 10, and Joseph, aged six, were living with her.¹⁰
     In 1880 she was living in Cloverdale, Putnam County, Indiana^G, in the household of her son William and daughter-in-law Emma, listed as Charlotte A Sackett, a widow aged 56.¹¹
     Apart from the records of Delaney's marriage in 1838 and the 1840 census, the only other record found for Delaney is that of his daughter Sarah's marriage in 1884 when she named her parents as Delaney Sackett and Charlotte Phelps.
     On the evidence of Sarah's parentage, it is assumed that the other children in Elijah's household in 1850 were her elder siblings and therefore also Delaney's children. It is further assumed that Delaney had died by 1850 and that Charlotte had married Elijah. Charlotte's son Joseph, born in about 1854, would then have been Elijah's child.
     Another hypothesis is that Delaney and Elijah were the same man. While there is no conflicting evidence against this possibility, the distinct names suggest it is unlikely.

Elizabeth Harriett Sackett, daughter of Rev Myron Sackett and Elizabeth Hill, was born in St Clair County, Illinois^G, on 19 February 1838.¹
     In 1850 Elizabeth was living in Twelve Mile Prairie, St Clair County, Illinois^G, in the household of her parents Myron and Elizabeth, and was recorded in the census as Elizabeth Sackett, aged twelve and born in St Clair County.²

Enoch Sackett, son of Reuben Sackett and ___ ___, was born in Vermont^G between 1760 and 1765.¹ He married about 1800, Rachel ___.²
     Enoch served in the American Revolutionary War. He was a member of a guard over prisoners in Bennington in August 1781. On 6 September 1781 he was a soldier in Governor Chittenden's Life Guard, Vermont Militia. The Vermont Revolutionary War records also include Reuben Sackett's service, identifying him as Enoch's father.^3,4
     Enoch was listed in the 1800 census as a householder in Pottstown, Luzerne County, Pennsylvania^G.⁵ In 1810 he was a householder in Ulysses, Seneca County, New York State^G.⁶ In 1820 he was a householder in Lawrenceburg, Dearborn County, Indiana^G.⁷ In 1830 and 1840 he was a householder in Logan, Dearborn County^G.^8,9

Florence Sackett, daughter of William Sackett and Elizabeth Talbot, was born in Roscoe, Goodhue County, Minnesota^G, about 1860.¹ She married in Merrick County, Nebraska^G, on 22 February 1880, Alonzo E Randsten, son of John Randsten and Anna Hall.¹
     In 1860 Florence was living in Roscoe, Goodhue County, Minnesota^G, in the household of her parents William and Elizabeth, and was recorded in the census as Florence Sackett, aged six months and born in Minnesota.²
     In 1870 she was living in Bushnell, McDonough County, Illinois^G, in the household of her parents William and Elizabeth, and was recorded as Florence Sackett, aged ten.³

Forrest Victor Sackett, son of Samuel Albert Sackett and Agnes Klingelhoffer, was born in Grand Valley, Mesa County, Colorado^G, on 9 September 1905.^1,2 He died aged 62 in Santa Fe, New Mexico^G, in November 1967.³ He married on 20 December 1935, Bernice Mitchel.⁴ Bernice was born on 7 August 1908.¹ She died aged 98 in Albuquerque, Bernalillo County, New Mexico^G, on 1 April 2007.⁵
     In 1910 Forrest was living at Regent Street, Boulder, Colorado^G, in the household of his parents Samuel and Agnes, and was recorded in the census as Forest V Sackett, aged nine and born in Colorado.⁶
     In 1920 he was living at Hastings Street, El Paso, Texas^G, in the household of his parents Samuel and Agnes, and was recorded as Forrest Sackett, aged 14.⁷
     In 1930 he was living at Hastings Street, El Paso^G, in the household of his parents Samuel and Agnes, and was recorded as Forrest V Sackett, a baseball player, single, aged 24.⁸
     Forrest completed a World War II draft registration card on 16 October 1940. He was aged 35 and was living in El Paso^G with his wife Bernice.⁹
     Forrest was listed in the El Paso City Directory from 1924 to 1944.¹⁰ Forrest and Bernice moved to Santa Fe, New Mexico^G, in 1944 and were listed in the city directory there from that date.¹¹

Francis A Sackett, son of William Sackett and Elizabeth Talbot, was born in Illinois^G in September 1843.¹ He married in Pottawattamie County, Iowa^G, on 3 February 1871, Myra Marie Tucker.¹
     In 1850 Francis was living in Warren County, Illinois^G, in the household of his parents William and Elizabeth, and was recorded in the census as Francis Sacket, aged six and born in Illinois.²
     In 1860 he was living in Roscoe, Goodhue County, Minnesota^G, in the household of his parents William and Elizabeth, and was recorded as Francis Sackett, aged 16.³
     In 1870 he was living in Bushnell, McDonough County, Illinois^G, in the household of his parents William and Elizabeth, and was recorded as Francis A Sackett, a music teacher, aged 26.⁴

George W Sackett, son of Jesse Sackett and Nancy Prifator, was born in Indiana^G about 1840.¹
     In 1850 George was living in Logan, Dearborn County, Indiana^G, in the household of his mother Nancy, and was recorded in the census as George W Sackett, aged ten and born in Indiana.²

Gertrude Sackett, daughter of Wentworth W Sackett and Henrietta Stone, was born in Missouri^G about 1877.¹
     In 1880 Gertrude was living in Cameron, Clinton County, Missouri^G, in the household of her mother Henrietta, and was recorded in the census as Gertrude Sacket, aged three and born in Missouri.²

Harriet Sackett, daughter of Reuben Sackett Jr and Elizabeth ___, was born in New York State^G on 30 August 1811.¹ She died in childbirth aged 35 in St Clair County, Illinois^G, on 13 February 1847.¹ She married in St Clair County^G on 13 February 1834, William Gray.²
     In 1850 Harriet's widower William was living at Twelve Mile Prairie, St Clair County^G, and was recorded in the census as William Gray, a carpenter, aged 43. Their children, Thomas, 15, and Elizabeth, 14, were living with him.³

Hazel Agnes Sackett, daughter of Samuel Albert Sackett and Agnes Klingelhoffer, was born in Texas^G on 1 July 1920. She died aged 102 in El Paso, Texas^G, on 4 August 2022.¹ She married on 19 January 1947, Richard LeRoy Thompson, son of Jake R Thompson and Nora Simpson.² Richard was born in El Dorado, Butler County, Kansas^G, on 10 December 1922.³ He died aged 48 in El Paso^G on 23 April 1971.^4,5
     In 1930 Hazel was living at Hastings Street, El Paso^G, in the household of her parents Samuel and Agnes, and was recorded in the census as Hazel A Sackett, aged nine and born in Texas.⁶
