Death of Alvah Gray.
Death came to Alvah Gray, of Heyworth, at the St. Joseph's hospital, Saturday evening at 8 o'clock, following an Illness of several weeks' duration with a complication of diseases.
He was born in St. Clair county, Illinois, February 10, 1866, and came to McLean county with his parents when about two years old. They located at Lytleville, where he has since resided. He was married February 26, 1893. to Miss Arista E. Strange, who with three children, Thomas, Hazel and Claire, survive. The funeral will be held this afternoon at 2:30 o'clock at the Shiloh church, three miles northeast of Heyworth. Rev. C. D. Robertson. of the M. E. church, will officiate and the interment will be in the Shiloh cemetery.
