Ralph Emerson Updike, son of Samuel Updike and Clara Isabell Parmenter, was born in Union Township, Adams County, IowaG, on 30 May 1904.2 He died aged 86 on 8 November 1990.2 He married Evelyn Emily Hoover. Evelyn was born in KansasG on 9 February 19112 and died there aged 79 on 27 January 1991.2

Lillian Janes Sackett, daughter of John Randolph Sackett and Julia Ann Clapp, was born in Northampton, Hampshire County, MassachusettsG, on 26 March 1881.2,3 She died in Springfield, Hampden County, MassachusettsG, in 1963 and was buried in the Oak Grove Cemetery, SpringfieldG.5 She married in NorthamptonG on 24 October 1901, Sumner Arthur Harris, son of George W Harris and Jennie Davidson.4 Sumner was born in Clayburg, New York StateG, in 1880.4 He died in 19546 and was buried in the Oak Grove CemeteryG.5
