Ethel Gibbs, daughter of George DeForest Gibbs and Ida Elizabeth Sackett, was born on 19 February 1887.¹ She died in infancy or childhood before 1900.

Carl Clifton Gibbs, farmer, son of George DeForest Gibbs and Ida Elizabeth Sackett, was born in New Lyme, Ashtabula County, Ohio^G, on 13 January 1890.^1,2,3 He married in Ripley, Chautauqua County, New York State^G, in November 1931, Mary I Kee, daughter of George Kee and Nancy Norman.⁴ Mary was born in Buck, Summers County, West Virginia^G, on 9 November 1871.³

Ivan DeVere Gibbs, son of George DeForest Gibbs and Ida Elizabeth Sackett, was born in New Lyme, Ashtabula County, Ohio^G, on 27 November 1893.^1,2 He died aged 83 on 24 April 1977 and was buried at Twentynine Palms Cemetery, San Bernando County, California^G.²

Albert Henderson Sackett, actor, son of John Sackett and Julia Maria Clark, was born in Northampton, Hampshire County, Massachusetts^G, on 26 April 1861.^1,2 He died aged 78 in New York City^G on 4 May 1939.³ He married Jeannette Sanderson.²

     In 1880 he was living at Springfield, Hampden County, Massachusetts^G, in the household of his parents John and Julia, and was recorded as Albert H Sacket, skate shop worker, single, aged 19 and born in Massachusetts.⁵
     In 1900 he was living at 7th Street, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania^G, and was recorded as Albert Sackett, a variety actor, head of household, aged 39 and born in Massachusetts. His house was rented. Living with him were his wife Jeanette, 32, and their daughter Julia, aged 12. Also in the household was a female boarder.⁶
     In 1910 he was living at West 34th Street, Manhattan, New York City^G, and was recorded as Albert H Sackett, a theatrical actor, head of household, married, aged 45 and born in Massachusetts. His house was rented. Living with him were his wife Jeanette, 43, and their married daughter Julia E Sloan, aged 22.⁷

John Randolph Sackett, son of Rufus William Sackett and Sarah Maria Janes, was born in Northampton, Hampshire County, Massachusetts^G, on 26 August 1855.^1,2,3 He died aged about 71 in Springfield, Hampden County, Massachusetts^G, in 1926⁴ and was buried at Oak Grove Cemetery, Springfield, Hampden County, Massachusetts^G.^6,7 He married in Northampton^G on 24 June 1880, Julia Ann Clapp, daughter of William Richard Clapp and Julia Ann Meacham.^1,2,5 Julia Ann Clapp was born in Northampton^G on 16 November 1857.⁵
     In 1870 John was living in Northampton, Hampshire County, Massachusetts^G, in the household of his parents Rufus and Sarah, and was recorded in the census as John Sackett, aged 16, at home, and born in New Jersey [clearly an enumeration error; he was born in Northampton].⁸
     In 1880 he was living in Northampton^G and was recorded as John Sackett, a furniture dealer, aged 24. He was boarding in a hotel (the census was taken on 3 June, just three weeks before his marriage.)⁹
     John was named as a beneficiary in his father's will made in Northampton^G.¹⁰ John's wife Julia was named as a beneficiary in the will of her father, William R Clapp, who died on 29 August 1894. She was "of Springfield", indicating that she and John had moved there from Northampton some time after 1880.¹¹
     In 1900 he was living at Pleasant Sreet, Northampton^G, in the household of his widowed mother-in-law Julia Clapp, and was recorded as John R Sackett, a furniture salesman, aged 44. Living with him were his wife Julia, 41, and their children, Lillian, 19, William, 17, and Gertrude, aged nine.¹²
     John, described as destitute, was admitted to a New York County Almshouse on 30 October 1907. Later records, other than that of his death in 1926, have not been found. In subsequent census records, his wife described herself as a widow.¹³
     In 1910 Julia was living at Washington Avenue, Northampton^G, and was recorded as Julia Sackett, head of household, a widow, aged 47 [she was 52]. Living with her were her daughter Gertrude, 20, and Jane Clapp, 34, perhaps a sister. Also in the household was a lodger, John Ware, 22, Gertrude's future husband.¹⁴
     In 1920 Julia was living at Boyd Street, Watertown, Middlesex County, Massachusetts^G, in the household of her daughter Gertrude and son-in-law John Ware and was recorded as Julia A Sackett, a widow, aged 62.¹⁵

Elisabeth Mary Sackett, daughter of Rufus William Sackett and Sarah Maria Janes, was born in Northampton, Hampshire County, Massachusetts^G, on 30 December 1856.^1,2,3 She died there aged 21 on 12 November 1878.^4,2
     In 1870 Elisabeth was living in Northampton^G in the household of her parents Rufus and Sarah, and was recorded in the census as Elizabeth Sackett, aged 11, at home, and born in Massachusetts.⁵

Minnie Truesdell Sackett, daughter of Rufus William Sackett and Sarah Maria Janes, was born in Worcester, Worcester County, Massachusetts^G, on 25 July 1862.^1,2,3 She married Charles R Cotton.³
