Noble William "Bill" Sackett, son of Harry Brent Sackett and Nettie Lucinda Holmes, was born in MichiganG on 15 August 1910.1,2 He died aged 88 on 21 October 19983 and was buried at Hastings Township Cemetery, Hastings, Barry County, MichiganG.4,5 He married first on 15 September 1930, Edith Virginia Sherman, daughter of Robert F Sherman and Gertrude A ___.1 Edith was born in IllinoisG about 1909.2 He married second on 17 October 1941, Flora Lillian Overton, daughter of Robert F Overton and Flora R Wade.1 Flora was born in Crofton, Christian County, KentuckyG, on 16 November 1920.6,7,8 She died aged 72 on 10 February 19939,10 and was buried at Hastings Township CemeteryG.6,4,11
     In 1920 Noble was living in Pine Grove, Van Buren County, MichiganG, in the household of his parents Harry and Nettie, and was recorded in the census as Noble Sackett, aged nine and born in Michigan.12
     In 1930 he was living at Pekin, Tazewell County, IllinoisG, and was recorded as Noble W Sackett, a box lunches salesman, aged 19. He was a boarder in the household of his future parents-in-law, Robert and Gertrude Sherman. Edith Sherman, 20, who Noble was to marry later the same year, was also in the household, along with her six younger siblings.13
     Noble was listed in the 1940 Hastings City Directory as a (car) bodyman, living at 201 West State. In 1944, he was a mechanic at Reahm Motor Sales, living at 210 North Washington with his second wife Flora. She was a nurse at Pennock Hospital.14

Ralph E Sackett, son of Burt Alonzo Sackett and Mary E Clark Vincent, was born at Rochester Street, Bergen, Genesee County, New York StateG, on 27 September 1925.1,2 He died aged 91 in Cedar Ridge Center, Skowhegan, Somerset County, MaineG, on 2 April 2017.2 He married in 1947, Dorothy Stein.
     In 1930 Ralph was living at Rochester Street, BergenG, in the household of his parents Burt and Mary, and was recorded in the census as Ralph E Sackett, aged four and born in New York.3

Ralph E Sackett, 91, passed away on April 2, 2017 at Cedar Ridge Center in Skowhegan, Maine.He was born Sept. 27, 1925 in Bergen, last of nine children of Burt and Mary Sackett (seven boys, two girls)—all born in the family home located on Rochester Street. In 1932, at the age of 7 he was inflicted with polio. This was the same year the buildings on east side of Main Street burned.
     He attended Bergen High School, leaving when he was a senior to work on an agricultural farm (Curtis Brothers) due to war, working there until August of 1950. In 1950, he began work at Gerber Baby Foods, working there until 1980 when the plant moved to North Carolina. At this time, he began work for the DOT in Spencerport and The Park Way until his retirement in 1992.
He married Dorothy Stein in 1947 and they had three children. He built his home on Leroy Street in Bergen in 1950 to 1951, living there until 1993 when he moved to Florida. He lived in Florida 1993 to 2007, moving to Maine to live with his son Michael.
     He was an active member of the Bergen Fire Department until 1980, being assistant chief for many years. He was one of the five founding members of Bergen Rod & Gun Club started in 1949. He was a member for a short time of Odd Fellows.
     He is predeceased by his wife Dorothy and a daughter MaryBeth. He is survived by a son Michael Sackett (Nancy) of Solon, Maine and a daughter Anne Maturi (George) of Gettysburg, Pa; five grandchildren—Teresa Matthews, Jennifer Park, Sarah Raji, Nicholas Maturi and Brenda Maturi; nine great-grandchildren and three great great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Mount Rest Cemetery Association, 76 South Lake Road, Bergen, NY 14416.
     Graveside services will be held at Mount Rest Cemetery at a later date.

Sarah Elizabeth Sackett, daughter of Alonzo Sackett and Ann Barr, was born in Genesee County, New York StateG, on 14 May 1847.1 She died aged 63 in Seattle, King County, Washington StateG, on 13 May 19112 and was buried at Mount Rest Cemetery, Bergen, Genesee CountyG.1 She married at Torpey Hill, Genesee County, New York StateG, on 26 February 1867, Jerome T Feezlear, son of John B Feezlear and Elizabeth A Bradford.3 Jerome was born in Murray, Orleans County, New York StateG, on 6 February 1845.1 He died aged 64 in SeattleG on 23 December 1909.4
     In 1850 Sarah was living at Bergen, Genesee County, New York StateG, in the household of her parents Alonzo and Ann, and was recorded in the census as Sarah E Sackett, aged three and born in New York.5
     In 1860 she was living in BergenG in the household of her parents Alonzo and Ann, and was recorded as Sarah Sacket, aged 13.6
     In 1870 she was living in BergenG in the household of her husband Jerome T Feezlear, 25, a farmer, and was recorded as Sarah E Feezlear, aged 23. Their son Jerome, aged three months, was living with them. Also in the household was Alex Sackett, aged twelve. He was probably the son of Sarah's uncle, Gilbert Sackett, identified in the book Ancestors and Descendants of Frederick Plummer Sackett as X Sackett. They were living next door to Sarah's parents, Alonzo and Ann.7
     In 1880 she was living in BergenG in the household of her husband Jerome Feazler, 35, a teacher, and was recorded as Sarah Feazler, aged 33. Living with them were their children, Jerome, 10, and Janie, aged seven. They were living next door to Sarah's parents.8
     In 1900 she was living in BergenG in the household of her husband Jerome Feezlear, 55, a school teacher, and was recorded as Sarah Feezlear, aged 53. Living with them were their daughter Jennie Hogg, 27, and Jennie's daughters, Sadie, 4, and Bessie, aged two.9
     In 1910 she was living in Seattle, Washington StateG, in the household of her daughter Jennie Hogg and her family, and was recorded as Sarah Feezlear, a widow, aged 62.10

Jerome T. Feezlear died a week ago today at the home of his daughter, Mrs. N. H. Hogg of Seattle, Wash. His home was at Edmonds, Wash., but, with Mrs. Feezlear, he went to Seattle expecting to return home the following day. Mr. Feezlear was born at Murray, Orleans county, on February 6, 1845, the son of John H. and Elizabeth A. Bradford Feezlear. His mother was a direct descendant of William Bradford, one of the early governors of Massachusetts. February 20, 1867, was married to Miss Sarah E Sackett, two children were born to them Jerome, on March 14, 1870, and Jennie on March 11, 1873. The son died on July 1 1889. He is survived by his wife and daughter.

Mr. and Mrs. N. R. Hogg of Seattle, Wash., arrived in the village on Wednesday evening. They brought with them the body of Mrs. Hogg's mother, Mrs. Sarah B. Feezlear, who died on May 13th at Seattle, aged 64 years. They also brought the ashes of Mrs. Hogg's father, Jerome T. Feezlear, who died on December 17, 1909, at Seattle, aged 64 years, and whose body was cremated. The funeral was held from the Methodist church at 2 o'clock this afternoon. Mrs. Feezlear was the only daughter of Alonzo Sackett and was born in Bergen.
