Emily M Sackett, daughter of Asa Alling Sackett and Rhoda Green, was born in Chautauqua County, New York State^G, about 1838.^1,2 She married in 1858, Anthony Hoffman Barton, son of George William Barton and Elizabeth Hoffman.^1,3,4 Anthony was born on 4 July 1836.³ He died aged 77 on 20 October 1913.³
     In 1855 Emily was living in Ancram, Columbia County, New York State^G, in the household of her parents Asa and Rhoda, and was recorded in the census as Emily M Sacket, aged 17 and born in Chautauqua County.⁵

Lorendus Sackett, son of Asa Alling Sackett and Rhoda Green, was born in Dutchess County, New York State^G, about 1849.^1,2 He died in 1878.¹
     In 1855 Lorendus was living in Ancram, Columbia County, New York State^G, in the household of his parents Asa and Rhoda, and was recorded in the census as Leurendeus Sacket, aged six and born in Dutchess County.³
     He was presumably the S S Sackett, aged nine in the household of parents Asa and Rhoda in the 1860 census.⁴

     In 1855 Jehial was living in Ancram, Columbia County, New York State^G, in the household of his parents Asa and Rhoda, and was recorded in the census as Jahial Sacket, aged ten and born in Dutchess County.³
     In 1860 he was living in Stanford, Dutchess County, New York State^G, in the household of his parents Asa and Rhoda, and was recorded as J K Sackett, aged 13.⁴
     In 1865 he was living in Stanford^G in the household of his parents Asa and Rhoda, and was recorded as Jehial K Sackett, aged 20.⁵
     In 1870 he was living in Stanford^G and was recorded as Jehial Sacket, a farmer, aged 24. Living with him were his mother Rhoda, 50, brother Asa, 17, and sister Rhoda, 14. It would appear that Jehial had inherited the substantial family farm by this date.⁶

     In 1850 Maria was living at Pleasant Valley, Dutchess County, New York State^G, in the household of her husband Allen Wiley, 25, a farmer, and was recorded in the census as Maria Wiley, aged 21 and born in New York. Their son William, aged eight months, was living with them. Also in the household was Catherin Wiley, aged seven, perhaps a daughter of Allen's from an earlier marriage.⁵

Eliza D Case, daughter of Elias Case and Ann Sackett, was born on 4 July 1832.¹ She died on 30 November 1872.¹ She married on 16 December 1851, George F Butts.¹
