Sonora/Lenora "Nora" Sackett, daughter of Archibald Wilson Sackett and Mahala T Burcham, was born in IllinoisG on 24 November 1856.1,2 She died aged 31 in Walkerton, Bourbon County, KansasG, on 13 July 1888.3 She married at Fort Scott, Bourbon County, KansasG, on 10 February 1878, Thomas Coleman Harris.1,4 Thomas was born in TennesseeG on 12 December 1852.5,6 He died aged 33 in Godfrey, Bourbon CountyG, on 5 January 1886 and was buried at Evergreen Cemetery, Fort ScottG.6

Harris.—Of consumption, near Godfrey, Kas., Thomas C. Harris, aged 33 years. Mr. Harris was a great sufferer for seven months. He was a kind father, an affectionate husband, and a good citizen. He died trusting in the Lord Jesus Christ as his only hope of eternal life. He leaves a wife and three children to mourn their loss. The funeral was at the house of A. W. Sackctt, and the remains interred in Evergreen cemetery.
