Sonora/Lenora "Nora" Sackett, daughter of Archibald Wilson Sackett and Mahala T Burcham, was born in Illinois^G on 24 November 1856.^1,2 She died aged 31 in Walkerton, Bourbon County, Kansas^G, on 13 July 1888.³ She married at Fort Scott, Bourbon County, Kansas^G, on 10 February 1878, Thomas Coleman Harris.^1,4 Thomas was born in Tennessee^G on 12 December 1852.^5,6 He died aged 33 in Godfrey, Bourbon County^G, on 5 January 1886 and was buried at Evergreen Cemetery, Fort Scott^G.⁶

     In 1880 he was living in Drywood, Bourbon County, Kansas^G, and was recorded as William O Sackett, a farmer, head of household, married, aged 22 and born in Indiana [sic: Illinois]. Living with him were his wife Martha, 20, and their son Charles, aged five months.⁵
     In 1900 he was living in Drywood, Bourbon County, Kansas^G, and was recorded as William O Sackett, a farmer, head of household, aged 42 and born in Illinois. He owned his farm on a mortgage. Living with him were his wife Martha, 40, and their children, Charles, 20, Lettie, 19, Bertha, 17, Deborah, 16, Ethel, 14, Clyde, 10, Fontin, 9, Paul, 6, Clarence, 4, and Albert, aged two.⁶
     In 1910 he was living in Drywood, Bourbon County, Kansas^G, and was recorded as William O Sackett, a self-employed farmer, head of household, aged 52. He owned his farm on a mortgage. Living with him were his wife Martha, 50, and their children, Clyde, 19, Fontan, 18, William Paul, 16, Clarence, 14, Albert, 12, Fred, 10, and Harry, aged seven.⁷
     In 1920 he was living in Drywood^G and was recorded as W O Sackett, a self-employed farmer, head of household, aged 62. Living with him were his wife Martha, 60, and their children, Clarence, 24, Albert, 22, Ethel, 34, Fred, 19, Harry, 17, and Paul, 26.⁸

Orville A Hopkins, son of James A Hopkins and Mary J Sackett, was born in New York State^G on 30 March 1861.^1,2 He married on 4 January 1882, Elizabeth Frazer, daughter of William Taylor Frazer and Ann Short Naylor.
     In 1920 Orville was living at Riley Street, Buffalo, Erie County, New York State^G, and was recorded in the census as Orville Hopkins, a bank teller, head of household, married, aged 59 and born in New York. He owned his home free of mortgage. Living with him were his wife Elizabeth, 61, and their daughter Elizabeth V, aged 17.³
     In 1930 he was living at Riley Street, Buffalo^G, and was recorded as Orville A Hopkins, a bank teller, head of household, married, aged 69 and born in New York. Living with him were his wife Elizabeth, 71, their daughter Virginia DeMunn, 27, and their son-in-law Everett DeMunn, 30.⁴
