Riley Davis Harris, son of Thomas Coleman Harris and Sonora/Lenora "Nora" Sackett, was born in Clinton, Henry County, Missouri^G, on 12 May 1878.^1,2 He died aged 62 in Coldwater, Comanche County, Kansas^G, on 3 February 1941.² He married in Fort Scott, Bourbon County, Kansas^G, on 20 December 1899, Mary Emily "Mayme" Biles.² Mary was born in Redfield, Bourbon County, Kansas^G, on 9 January 1883² and died aged 85 in Coldwater^G on 2 March 1968.²

John Hubbert Sackett, son of William Post Sackett and Maria Tilton Hubbert, was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania^G, on 23 July 1879^1,2 and baptized at Bethesda Presbyterian Church, Philadelphia^G, on 19 September 1879.³ He died aged 86 in Queens, New York City^G, on 4 November 1965.⁴ He married first in Philadelphia^G on 1 March 1899, Mary Virginia Fussell.⁵ At the date of his marriage John was aged 19 and was living with his maternal grandmother Mary Hubbert at 1526 East Montgomery Avenue, Philadelphia^G. She gave formal consent to his marriage, stating in the record that although John's parents were living they had "deserted their son and contributed no support for years". (It would appear that their differences were mended as both John's family and his parents had moved by 1910 to New Britain, Pennsylvania, and were living next door but one to each other in Ferry Road.) Mary Fussell was born in Philadelphia^G on 25 February 1878⁶ and died aged 40 on 6 February 1919.⁷ John married second Margaret ___.

Living with him were his wife Mary, 22, their six-month-old son Calvin, and John's widowed maternal grandmother Mary, aged 80 (listed as Sackett but was Hubbert.)⁹

     In 1905 he was living in Manhattan, New York City^G, in the household of his parents William and Maria, and was recorded as Harold A Sackett, a college student, aged 18.²
     In 1910 he was living at Ferry Road, New Britain, Bucks County, Pennsylvania^G, in the household of his parents William and Maria, and was recorded as Harold P Sackett, aged 23 and born in Pennsylvania.³
     In 1920 he was living in New Britain^G in the household of his parents William and Maria, and was recorded as Harold P Sackett, a farmer, aged 33, single.⁴
     In 1930 he was living at North Broadway, White Plains, Westchester County, New York State^G, in the household of his parents William and Maria, and was recorded as Harold P Sackett, no occupation, aged 44, single.⁵
     Harold was listed in the White Plains City Directories from 1930 to 1932. He was an electrician and was living at 87 North Broadway, White Plains^G, with his parents William and Marie.⁶ In 1934 he was living at 39 Mitchell Place, White Plains^G, with his wife Margaret.⁷

Calvin Burnett Sackett, son of John Hubbert Sackett and Mary Virginia Fussell, was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania^G, on 2 November 1899.¹ He died aged 70 in New Jersey^G on 14 September 1970² and was buried at Arlington National Cemetery, Virginia^G, on 18 September 1970.⁹ He married first in Staten Island, New York City^G, on 13 June 1924, Maisie C Sanford, daughter of Edward L Sanford and Sophia E Stevens.^3,4 Maisie was born in Connecticut^G about 1897¹⁰ and died aged 32 in Richmond, Ontario County, New York State^G, on 26 August 1929 (She presumably died before this date as this was the date of Calvin's second marriage. The transcription of the New York City municipal death records, which also incorrectly places Richmond in New York City, may be in error, or this may have been the date on which she was legally presumed dead.)^11,12 He married second in Wellsburg, Brooke County, West Virginia^G, on 26 August 1929, Gertrude M Hornbake.^5,6 Gertrude was born in Washington, Pennsylvania^G, about 1909.^10,13 Calvin and Gertrude divorced in the 1940s. He married third in Jeffersonville, Clark County, Indiana^G, on 25 June 1947, Mary A Briggs, daughter of Joseph N Briggs and Estella Hock.⁷ Mary was born in Philadelphia^G on 12 March 1908.¹³ He married fourth in Augusta, Richmond County, Georgia^G, on 14 March 1954, Minnie McGee.⁸ He married fifth Betty M Kenyon. She died in Watertown, Jefferson County, New York State^G, on 20 October 1975.¹⁴

     Calvin served during the First World War in the 1st New York Cavalry, enlisting in Brooklyn on 28 May 1917 and being demobilized on 3 April 1919. He served overseas from May 1918 to March 1919.^17,18

     Calvin served in the US Army during the Second World War. He attained the rank of Lieutenant Colonel. He was a serving officer at the date of his third marriage in 1947.

Delores Sackett, daughter of John Hubbert Sackett and Mary Virginia Fussell, was born on 15 February 1901.¹ She died aged 79 on 24 May 1980.

Elizabeth Louise "Betty" Sackett, daughter of Calvin Burnett Sackett and Maisie C Sanford, was born in Staten Island, New York City^G, on 22 March 1926.^1,2 She died aged 76 on 26 December 2002^1,2,3 and was buried at Greenfield Cemetery, Uniondale, Nassau County, New York State^G.⁵ She married in Hempstead, Nassau County^G, on 29 November 1947, John Henry Seeba Jr, son of John Henry Seeba Sr and Muriel Iris Clabault.⁴ John (Jr) was born on 9 September 1924.⁶ He died aged 78 on 16 October 2002⁷ and was buried at Greenfield Cemetery^G.⁵

     Elizabeth served as a nurse during the Second World War. She was admitted to the US Cadet Nurse Corps on 18 September 1944 and graduated on 25 March 1947.¹⁰
