James Russell Sackett, banker, son of James Henry Sackett and Aurelia Chapin, was born in New York StateG on 20 March 1850.1,2 He died aged 74 in Oakley, Saginaw County, MichiganG, on 3 February 1925 and was buried at Riverside Cemetery, Albion, Calhoun County, MichiganG.5 He married first in Albion, Calhoun County, MichiganG, on 26 October 1880, Isadore "Dora" Henderson, daughter of Samuel J Henderson and Julia E Packard.1,3 Isadore was born in AlbionG about 1855.2 He married second in OakleyG on 26 October 1919, Hattie Spencer, daughter of Ezra R Spencer and Catherine Serenth.4 Hattie was born in OakleyG about 1879.2

Fred C Sackett, son of James Henry Sackett and Aurelia Chapin, was born in Aurelius, Cayuga County, New York StateG, on 11 August 1854.1,2 He died aged 74 in Albion, Calhoun County, MichiganG, on 17 April 19293 and was buried at Riverside Cemetery, AlbionG.3 He married in AlbionG on 16 November 1880, Caroline M "Carrie" Dorrance, daughter of William Dorrance and Eliza King.1,3,4 Caroline was born in Canton, Fulton County, IllinoisG, on 9 January 1859.5,6 She died aged 72 in AlbionG on 28 August 1931 and was buried at Riverside Cemetery, AlbionG.3
     In 1900 Fred was living at Ingham, Albion City, Calhoun County, MichiganG, and was recorded in the census as Fred C Sackett, a clerk in dry goods, head of household, 45 and born New York. Living with him were his wife Carrie, 42, and their children, William, 18, and Catherine, aged one. Fred's parents James and Aurelia were living next door.7
     In 1930 Fred's widow Caroline was living at Michigan Avenue, AlbionG, in the household of her daughter Katharyn and son-in-law Howell Van Gorden, and was recorded in the census as Carrie M Sacket, aged 71 and born in Illinois.8
