William Neame Sackett, Royal Navy steward, son of John Sackett and Maria Smith, was born in Worth, KentG, on 19 April 1870.1,2,3 He died aged 88 at home at 26 Felix Road, Gosport, HampshireG, on 21 January 1959.4,5 He married in Alverstoke, HampshireG, in 1896, Alice Susan Smith, daughter of George Smith and Eliza Harvey Chipp.6 She was born in Alverstoke, HampshireG, on 22 June 1868.3,7 She died aged 73 at home at Crocks Cottages, Bentley, HampshireG, on 13 January 1942.8,5
