Living with them were their children, Isabella aged three and Albert aged two months, both born in Lambeth.⁶

Charles William Sackett, son of Samuel Henry Sackett and Emma Rosetta Roberts, was born in Neate Street, Camberwell, Surrey^G, on 31 December 1869.¹ He was registered as Charles Alfred but was later known as Charles William. He died aged 55 at home at 134 Brayards Road, Peckham, Surrey^G, on 9 December 1925.^2,3 He married in Camberwell^G in 1896, Rose R Brooker.⁴ Charles was a gas company employee. Rose was born in 1871⁵ and died aged 82 at The Hostel of God, Clapham Common, London^G, on 23 October 1953.^6,3

     In 1911 he was living at 134 Brayards Road, Peckham, London^G, and was recorded as Charles W Sackett, a lamplighter of public street gas lamps, South Metropolitan Gas Company, aged 41 and born in Camberwell. Living with him were his wife Rose, 38, and their children, Mary, 14, and Ada, aged 12.¹¹

     Administration of Charles's estate was granted on 11 January 1926 to his widow Rose and their daughter Ada. His estate was valued at £699.¹³
     Administration of Charles's widow Rose's estate was granted on 14 January 1954 to their son Frank. Her estate was valued at £352.¹⁴

May Rose Sackett, daughter of Charles William Sackett and Rose R Brooker, was born in Camberwell, London^G, in 1896.¹ She died aged 90 in 1987. She married at Camberwell^G in 1922, Frank Maurice Wright.^2,3

     In 1921 she was living at 134 Brayards Road, Camberwell^G, in the household of her parents Charles and Rose, and was recorded as May Rose Sackett, aged 24. Her occupation was given as "gentlemens hosiery, private", suggesting she was a knitter.⁶
