Henry Clay Sackett, son of James K Sackett and Elizabeth R Robinson, was born in MichiganG on 5 September 1882.1 He died aged 92 in Haigler, Dundy County, NebraskaG, on 15 January 1975.2
In 1900 Henry was living in Eureka, Cheyenne County, KansasG, in the household of his parents James and Elizabeth, and was recorded in the census as Henry C Sackett, aged 17 and born in Michigan.3
Henry completed a World War I draft registration card on 12 September 1918. He was then aged 35 and was living in HaiglerG. He was a self-employed farmer.4
In 1920 he was living at HaiglerG in the household of his mother Elizabeth, and was recorded as Henry C Sackett, a farmer, single, aged 37. [This entry was crossed through on the census return]5
In 1930 he was living at East Avenue, HaiglerG, and was recorded as Henry C Sackett, a farmer, head of household, aged 47 and single. Living with him were his unmarried brother Carl, 54, and their unmarried aunt Fanny G Robinson, aged 80.6
In 1940 he was living in HaiglerG and was recorded as Henry C Sackett, a livestock buyer, head of household, aged 58 and single. He owned his home. His unmarried brother Abram, 64, was living with him.7
