John Sackett, son of Lieut David Sackett and Lucretia Shepard, was born in MassachusettsG in say 1784.1 He died in Denmark, Ashtabula County, OhioG, on 1 September 1847.2 He married at NorwichG on 1 April 1813, Eunice Leffingwell, daughter of Elisha Leffingwell and Betsey Barney.3,4 Eunice was born in MassachusettsG in about 1788.1,5 She was probably the Eunice Sackett who died aged 83 years and 11 months in Westfield, Hampden County, MassachusettsG, on 26 October 1862.6
