Charles D Sackett, son of John Lemuel Sackett Jr and Jean Ethelind Lovejoy, was born in New York StateG on 7 April 1961.1 He died aged 63 in TennesseeG on 23 April 2024.1 He married in 2001, Amy M Hennard.1 Amy was born on 20 May 1973.2 She died aged 49 in TennesseeG on 18 November 2022.3

Charles D. Sackett, 63, of Tennessee, passed away on April 23, 2024. He was born on April 7, 1961 to the late John and Jean (Lovejoy) Sacket. In addition to his parents, Charles is predeceased by his wife; Amy Sackett; and son Chandler Sackett.
     Charlie is survived by his two sons, a daughter, two step sons and two step daughters.
     Charlie was born and raised on the Sackett Farm and hard work was in Charlie's blood. He enjoyed helping others, which led to him having several jobs for the local people of Byron. After high school Charlie attended Cornell University where he graduated with a degree in agriculture and agribusiness. After getting his degree he went to the police academy and became a New York State Trooper at the age of 27. He retired after 28 years of service.
     During his life as a trooper he met his wife Amy Hennard and married her in the summer of 2001. They had two children together Chandler and Caitlin. After his retirement Charlie spent his time cutting lumber and enjoyed helping his good friend Rick whenever he was needed. He had 11 grandchildren who he loved reading to and watching movies with. Charlie was loved by many and his love for helping and serving others showed throughout his entire life. He will always be remembered for his warm smile, his hearty laugh, his willingness to help, and his love for his friends and family.
     There will be no prior calling hours. A 1:00PM Graveside Service will be held on Tuesday April 30, 2024 at Byron Cemetery on Route 262 in Byron, NY where he will be laid to rest.

George Lane Plimpton

George Lane Plimpton, son of Henry Richardson Plimpton and Mary Eliza Sacket, was born in Westfield, Hampden County, MassachusettsG, on 29 August 1858.1 He died aged 78 in Brooklyn, New York CityG, on 7 May 1937.1
     In 1860 George was living in BostonG in the household of his parents Henry and Mary, and was recorded in the census as Geo L Plympton, aged one and born in Massachusetts.2
     In 1870 he was living in BostonG in the household of his parents Henry and Mary, and was recorded as George Plympton, aged ten.3
     George was named as a beneficiary in the will of his uncle Charles D Sackett made in WestfieldG on 3 January 1871. He was left a sum of $50 in his own right and, following the recent death of their mother who would have been a main beneficiary, he and his sister Lucy also jointly inherited some $5,000 held in trust by their father.4

Lucy Dwight Plimpton, daughter of Henry Richardson Plimpton and Mary Eliza Sacket, was born in Boston, Suffolk County, MassachusettsG, on 3 November 1871.1 She died aged 87 in Whitman, Plymouth County, MassachusettsG, on 30 March 1959.1
     Lucy and her brother George jointly inherited some $5,000 from the estate of their uncle Charles D Sackett. The inheritance would have gone to their mother Mary but, following her recent death, the amount was now held in trust by their father.2
