Charles Albert Sackett, son of George Henry Sackett and Ellen Charles "Nellie" Grant, was born in West Springfield, Hampden County, MassachusettsG, on 9 September 1882.1 He died aged 48 in Agawam, Hampden CountyG, on 22 February 19312 and was buried at Paucatuck Cemetery, West Springfield, Hampden CountyG.3 He married Clara G Arpen, daughter of Zeb J Arpen and Josephine A ___. Clara was born in MassachusettsG in July 1882.3,4 She died aged about 87 in West SpringfieldG in July 1969 and was buried at Paucatuck CemeteryG.3
In 1900 Charles was living at Cottage Street, West SpringfieldG, in the household of his parents George and Ellen, and was recorded in the census as Charles A Sackett, a typewriter machinist, aged 17 and born in Massachusetts.5
