Elton Spencer "Red" Sackett, son of Elihu Elton Sackett and Amy Floretta Maine, was born in Winnebago, Faribault County, Minnesota^G, on 11 November 1918.¹ He died aged 84 in Waunakee, Dane County, Wisconsin^G, on 22 June 2003^2,3 and was buried at Highland Memory Gardens, Madison, Dane County, Wisconsin^G.⁶ He married first in Davidson County, Tennessee^G, on 11 December 1942, Laura Johanna Schlicht, daughter of Frederick L Schlicht and Irene A Mundstock.⁴ Laura was born in Hamburg, Vernon County, Wisconsin^G, on 24 February 1914⁷ and died aged 90 in La Crosse, Wisconsin^G, on 4 September 2004.⁸ Elton and Laura divorced in La Crosse^G on 5 December 1977.⁹ Elton married second in Dane County, Wisconsin^G, on 10 June 1978, Edna A (Peltz) Merrill, daughter of Gottlieb Peltz.⁵ Edna was born in New Leipzig, North Dakota^G, on 22 April 1923.^10,1 She died aged 88 in Wisconsin^G on 15 May 2011^11,12 and was buried at Highland Memory Gardens, Madison^G.⁶

     Elton completed a World War II draft registration card on 16 October 1940. He was aged 21 and was living in Winnebago, Minnesota^G.¹⁴ He served in the US Army from 25 October 1940 to 12 October 1945.^15,16

Earl Livingston Hodges Sackett, son of Blair Livingston Sackett and Daisy May Hodges, was born in Lima, Peru^G, on 26 January 1912.¹ He died aged 85 in Colorado^G on 23 August 1997.¹ He married at Salt Lake City, Utah^G, on 11 August 1942, Patricia Cracroft.¹ Patricia was born in Boise, Ada County, Idaho^G, on 21 September 1911.¹ She died aged 83 on 16 May 1995.¹

Paul Fulton Sackett, son of Blair Livingston Sackett and Daisy May Hodges, was born in Tooele, Utah^G, on 13 March 1915.¹ He died aged 88 in Jackson County, Oregon^G, on 17 April 2003.²
     Paul was a Colonel in the US 6th Marine Division during the Second World War. He was at Pearl Harbor when it was bombed by the Japanese, and fought in the Battle of Okinawa.

Virginia Marion Sackett, daughter of Blair Livingston Sackett and Daisy May Hodges, was born in Tooele, Utah^G, on 29 December 1917.¹ She died aged 71 in Tucson, Pima County, Arizona^G, on 23 February 1989.¹

Nora Viola Frank, daughter of Samuel L Frank and Mary Myrtle Scoles, was born in 1900 and died in 1986.¹ She married Samuel L Hamrick.¹
