James Arthur Sackett, son of Philetus Sackett and Susan Anna Owens, was born in Hillsdale County, MichiganG, on 9 March 1884.1 He died aged 84 in Lenawee County, MichiganG, in December 1968 and was buried at Oakwood Cemetery, Adrian, Lenawee CountyG.3,4 He married in Addison, Lenawee CountyG, on 21 August 1912, Zoa Belle Wolff, daughter of Orra S Wolff and Mary Johns.2 Zoa was born in Waldron, Hillsdale CountyG, on 31 May 1896.5,6 James and Zoa divorced in Lenawee CountyG on 10 March 1933 following the filing of a petition on 23 September 1929.7 Zoa married second in Hillsdale, MichiganG, on 2 May 1934, Joseph Eleazer Johns.8 Zoa died aged 80 at Coldwater, Branch County, MichiganG, on 6 February 1977 and was buried at Waldron Cemetery, Waldron, Hillsdale CountyG.3

Mrs. Orra S. Johns
Coldwater — Mrs. Zoa B. (Wolff) Johns, 80, of 550 E. Chicago St., died Sunday in the Branch County Community Health Center several hours after being admitted. She had been ill four months.
She was born in Hillsdale County and moved to Coldwater in 1955. She was the widow of Orra S. Johns.
She is survived by daughters, Mrs. Marie Finch, Mrs. Carrie Brouse, Mrs. Mary Brouse, and Mrs. Lillian Brouse, all of Coldwater, and Mrs. Hazel Gamble of Mosherville Station; sons, William Sackett of Milan, Paul Sackett of Jonesville, Roy Johns of Geneva, Ind., and Minion Johns of Coldwater; 28 grandchildren; 70 great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild.
Services will be held at 3:30 m. Wednesday at Putnam Funeral Home.

Paul Lawrence Sackett, son of James Arthur Sackett and Zoa Belle Wolff, was born in Tecumseh, Lenawee County, MichiganG, on 1 June 1925.1 He died aged 82 on 1 June 20072,3,4 and was buried at Sunset View Cemetery, Jonesville, Hillsdale County, MichiganG.7 He married first in North Adams, Hillsdale County, MichiganG, on 22 February 1946, Betty Jane Gallop, daughter of George C Gallop and Clara Harmon.5 Betty was born in Coldwater, Branch County, MichiganG, on 17 September 1927.8 They divorced in 1946 or 1947. Betty married second in IndianaG on 24 February 1950, Max Halferty.9 Paul married second in 1947, Louisa Mae Proctor, daughter of Roland Phillip Proctor and Louise Florence Peacock. Louisa was born in Salt Lake City, UtahG, on 26 February 1929.7 They divorced before 1950.10 Louisa married second on 7 October 1955 Clifton E Pritzkau. She died aged 79 in Tooele, UtahG, on 8 July 2008 and was buried at Tooele City CemeteryG.7 Paul married third in Jonesville, Hillsdale County, MichiganG, on 26 July 1952, Katherine Cora Badders, daughter of Alvie Badders and Vera Blair.6 Katherine was born in JonesvilleG on 27 May 1924. She died aged 88 in Hillsdale, MichiganG, on 20 June 2012 and was buried at Sunset View Cemetery, JonesvilleG.7

Louisa Mae Proctor Pritzkau passed over to our Heavenly Father on July 8, 2008.
Born February 26th, 1929 to Roland and Louise (Peacock) Proctor. She was the eldest of seven. She married Clifton E. Pritzkau on October 7, 1955. They have five children, twelve grandchildren and fourteen great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. She loved spending time with her family. She had a very caring heart. She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She was a member of the Eagles Ladies Auxiliary. She was an avid crocheter and loved to embroider. She was always looking for new crafts and patterns to make for Christmas. Most of all her gifts were handmade. She also enjoyed all the different activities she and Clifton did with their children and horses. Her favorite was Christmas caroling, hay rides, and the Fourth of July parade.
Survived by her loving husband, Clifton E. Pritzkau. Children, Kayleene (Russ) Driggs of Salt Lake City, UT; John Pritzkau of Battle Mtn., NV; Marie Peasnall of Battle Mtn, NV; and Milo (Tiffany) Pritzkau of Erda, UT. Twelve grandchildren and fourteen great-grandchildren. Brother, Edwin (Judy) Proctor, sister, Carolyn Proctor. Preceded in death by her parents, one son, four sisters, and two grandsons.
Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, July 15th at 11 a.m. at the Tooele 19th LDS Ward Chapel, 1030 South 900 West. A Viewing will be held on Monday, July 14th from 6-8 p.m. at Tate Mortuary, 110 South Main Street, Tooele and from 9:30-10:30 prior to the Funeral at the Church on Tuesday.
Interment will be in the Tooele City Cemetery.

Hazel M. Gamble, of North Adams, passed away June 9, 2006 at her home at the age of 79. She was born Jan. 6, 1927, the daughter of James and Zoa (Wolfe) Sackett.
She was preceded in death by her parents; two husbands, Lawrence Whetstone and Benjamin Gamble; one son, Jerry Whetstone; brothers and sisters. She is survived by her children, Betty (James) Gamble, Daniel Whetstone, Virginia (Robert) Handy and Kristina (Ronald) Matrisch; 10 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; one great-great-granddaughter; one sister, Lillian Purdy of Bronson and two brothers, Minion (Sandy) Johns of Reading and Paul Sackett of Hillsdale.
Mrs. Gamble had attended Bible Baptist Church in North Adams.
A funeral service to honor the life of Mrs. Hazel M. Gamble will be held at the Hampton-Kurtz Funeral Home in North Adams on Monday, June 12 at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Paul Pickell officiating. Interment will take place in the Northlawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends for visitation on Sunday, June 11 from 5-8 p.m. at the funeral home. Friends who wish may make memorial contributions to the American Cancer Society.

Benjamin A. "Ben" Gamble, 86, of North Adams, formerly of Munson and Fayette, Ohio, died Wednesday, Sept. 13, at Bixby Medical Center in Adrian. He retired in 1976 after 35 years as a machine operator for Norfolk & Western (Wabash) Railroad. Surviving are his wife, Hazel; five sons, James, Wayne, Clifford, William and Daniel; two daughters, Virginia Handy and Kristina Lee; two brothers, Howard and Herbert Gambler; a sister, Mable Johnson; 20 grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Violet, in 1972; a daughter, Mary Alice Gambler; a stepdaughter, Darlene Miller; and one great-grandchild. Arrangements are by Kurtz-Towns Funeral Homes, 116 S. Hillsdale, North Adams.
