John Stephens, son of Nicholas Stephens and Elizabeth Sackett, was baptized at St Lawrence in Thanet, Kent^G, on 9 October 1631.¹ He died in infancy in 1633 and was buried at St Lawrence in Thanet^G on 10 August 1633.²

Martha Stephens, daughter of Nicholas Stephens and Elizabeth Sackett, was baptized at St Lawrence in Thanet, Kent^G, on 24 May 1640.¹

Elizabeth Stephens, daughter of Nicholas Stephens and Elizabeth Sackett, was baptized at St Lawrence in Thanet, Kent^G, on 22 December 1629.¹ She died in infancy and was buried at St Lawrence in Thanet^G on 31 December 1629.²

Jane Stephens, daughter of Nicholas Stephens and Elizabeth Sackett, was baptized at St Lawrence in Thanet, Kent^G, on 22 December 1629.¹ She died in infancy and was buried at St Lawrence in Thanet^G on 11 February 1629/30.²

Elizabeth Stephens, daughter of Nicholas Stephens and Elizabeth Sackett, was baptized at St Lawrence in Thanet, Kent^G, on 4 June 1645.¹ She died there on 17 June 1645.

Polly Sackett, daughter of William O Sackett and Polly Ann ___, was born in Connecticut^G about 1796.¹ She died aged 97 in Ellington, Tolland County, Connecticut^G, on 18 August 1893² and was buried at Ellington Center Cemetery^G.⁴ She married on 29 October 1814, probably in Oxford, New Haven County, Connecticut^G, Daniel Riggs, son of David Riggs and Hannah Wheeler.³ Daniel was born about 1798⁵ and died in Waterbury, New Haven County^G, on 12 November 1856.⁶ Daniel was under age when he married and his father David evidently did not approve. He posted a newspaper notice on 7 November 1814, effectively disowning his son.⁷ Polly and Daniel divorced in August 1840.⁸
     In 1850 Polly was living in Woodbury, Litchfield County, Connecticut^G, and was recorded in the census as Polly Riggs, aged 55 and born in Connecticut. Her daughter Jane, 17, was living with her.⁹
     In 1870 she was living in Seymour, New Haven County^G, in the household of Eliza Sperry, 28, and was recorded as Polly Riggs, aged 74 and born in Connecticut. Also in the household were Eliza's brother Howard Sackett, 18, and sister Emma Sackett, 10. Polly was the aunt of these three siblings.¹⁰
     In 1880 she was living in Seymour, New Haven County, Connecticut^G, in the household of her widowed daughter Jane Woodworth, and was recorded as Polly Riggs, a widow, aged 83. They were living next door to Minerva Sackett, 63, widow of Polly's brother William Washington Sackett, William and Minerva's widowed daughter Eliza Sperry, 37, and Eliza's son Willie, 14.¹¹

William Washington Sackett, son of William O Sackett and Polly Ann ___, was born in Bethany, New Haven County, Connecticut^G, about 1798.¹ He died aged 75 in Bethany^G on 10 March 1873.² He married first in Oxford, New Haven County^G, on 15 February 1823, Sally Wooding.³ He married second in Bethany^G on 13 August 1839, Minerva Drives.⁴ Minerva was born on 25 June 1817.⁵ She died aged 95 on 21 October 1912 and was buried at Northwest Cemetery, Woodbridge, New Haven County^G.^6,7
     William was listed in the 1830 census as a householder in Oxford^G.⁸ In 1840 he was a householder in Bethany, New Haven County^G.⁹
     In 1880 William's widow Minerva, aged 63, was living at Seymour, New Haven County, Connecticut^G, in the household of her widowed daughter Eliza, 37.¹⁰

Sarah A Sackett, daughter of William Washington Sackett and Sally Wooding, was born about 1827.¹

Lucinda L Sackett, daughter of William Washington Sackett and Sally Wooding, was born in Bethany, New Haven County, Connecticut^G, about 1837.¹

Sterne W Sackett, son of William Washington Sackett and Minerva Drives, was born in Bethany, New Haven County, Connecticut^G, about 1840.¹ He died there aged about 18 on 5 September 1858.¹

Eliza M Sackett, daughter of William Washington Sackett and Minerva Drives, was born in Bethany, New Haven County, Connecticut^G, on 14 February 1842.¹ She died aged 74 on 23 November 1916 and was buried at Northwest Cemetery, Woodbridge, New Haven County^G.¹ She married in Seymour, New Haven County, Connecticut^G, on 7 February 1863, Andrew Sperry.²
     In 1870 Eliza was living in Seymour, New Haven County^G, and was recorded in the census as Eliza Sperry, a worker in the paper mill, aged 28 and born in Connecticut. Living with her were Polly Riggs, 74, Willie Riggs, 4, and Eliza's brother Howard, 18, and sister Emma, aged ten. (Polly Riggs was the aunt of Eliza, Howard, and Emma. Willie, aged four, was Eliza Sperry's son, incorrectly listed as Riggs.)³
     In 1880 she was living in Seymour, New Haven County, Connecticut^G, and was recorded as Eliza Sperry, a worker in the paper mill, a widow, aged 37. Living with her were her son Willie, 14, and her widowed mother Minerva Sackett, 63. Living next door were widow Polly Riggs, 83, and her daughter Jane Woodworth, also widowed, aged 47.⁴

Timandra J Sackett, daughter of William Washington Sackett and Minerva Drives, was born in Bethany, New Haven County, Connecticut^G, about 1844.¹

George W Sackett, son of William Washington Sackett and Minerva Drives, was born in Bethany, New Haven County, Connecticut^G, about 1856.¹ He died aged about 66 in Connecticut^G in 1922.¹

     In 1870 Willie was living in Seymour, New Haven County^G, in the household of his mother Eliza, and was recorded in the census as Willie Riggs (evidently an error for Sperry), aged four and born in Connecticut.²
     In 1880 he was living in Seymour, New Haven County, Connecticut^G, in the household of his widowed mother Eliza, and was recorded as Willie Sperry, aged 14.³

Jane E Riggs, daughter of Daniel Riggs and Polly Sackett, was born in Connecticut^G about 1833.¹ She married ___ Woodworth. He died before 1880.

     In 1880 Jane was living in Seymour, New Haven County, Connecticut^G, and was recorded in the census as Jane E Woodworth, a worker in the paper mill, a widow, aged 47 and born in Connecticut. Her widowed mother Polly Riggs, 83, was living with her. Also in the household was a boarder, Henry Buckingham, 51.³

Harriet Riggs, daughter of Daniel Riggs and Polly Sackett, was born in Watertown, Litchfield County, Connecticut^G, on 27 September 1817.¹ She died aged 83 in Thomaston, Litchfield County^G, on 28 August 1901.¹ She married first in Oxford, New Haven County, Connecticut^G, on 28 March 1834, Jason Talmage.² They divorced in 1837.² She married second about 1839, Wheeler Atwood.³ Wheeler was born in Connecticut^G on 8 December 1778^4,5 and died aged 80 on 28 May 1859.^6,7
