Carrie Soules, daughter of William Soules and Jael Sackett, was born in Wisconsin^G about 1872.¹
     In 1880 Carrie was living in Baraboo, Wisconsin^G, in the household of her parents William and Jael, and was recorded in the census as Carrie Soules, at school, aged eight and born in Wisconsin.²

Grace Pearl Seager, daughter of George Frank Seager and Nettie Knowles, was born in Wisconsin^G in 1901.^1,2 She died aged 58 in Burlington, Racine County, Wisconsin^G, on 5 February 1959.³ She married about 1926, Albert E Cushman.^2,1 Albert was born in 1902.²
     In 1910 Grace was living at Second Street, Barron, Wisconsin^G, in the household of her parents George and Nettie, and was recorded in the census as Grace Pearl Seegar, a student, aged nine and born in Wisconsin.⁴
     In 1930 she was living at Blaine Avenue, Racine, Wisconsin^G, in the household of her husband Albert, 28, a garage mechanic, and was recorded as Grace P Cushman, aged 29. Living with them were their children, Ray, 2, and Bertie, aged one. Also in the household was Grace's brother George, 25.⁵

     In 1910 George was living at Second Street, Barron, Wisconsin^G, in the household of his parents George and Nettie, and was recorded in the census as George Elmer Seegar, aged five and born in Wisconsin.²
     In 1930 he was living at Blaine Avenue, Racine, Wisconsin^G, in the household of his sister Grace and brother-in-law Albert Cushman, and was recorded as George Seager, a sulphur operator, single, aged 25.³

Lucius Sackett, son of Lewis Sackett and Lucina ___, was born in Connecticut^G about 1816.¹ He died aged about 68 in New Haven County, Connecticut^G, on 18 July 1884² and was buried at Pine Bridge Cemetery, Beacon Falls, New Haven County^G.⁴ He married in Connecticut^G on 1 September 1842, Emily C Sherman.³ Emily was born in Connecticut^G about 1822.¹ She died aged 87 in New Haven County^G on 30 May 1906 and was buried at Pine Bridge Cemetery, Beacon Falls, New Haven County^G.⁵
     In 1850 Lucius was living in Oxford, New Haven County, Connecticut^G, and was recorded in the census as Lucius Sacket, a farmer, aged 29 and born in Connecticut. Living with him were his wife Emily, 27, and their son Wales, aged seven.⁶
     Lucius served in the American Civil War, enlisting in the Twentieth Regiment Connecticut Volunteers on 18 August 1862. He was captured at Chancellorsville, Virginia, on 3 May 1863 but paroled twelve days later. He transferred to the 75th Company 2nd Battalion Veteran Reserve Corps on 14 October 1863 and was discharged on 30 October 1863. He was registered for an invalidity pension in March 1864. His widow Emily claimed a pension from April 1885.^7,8
     In 1870 he was living in Oxford, New Haven County, Connecticut^G, and was recorded as Lucius Sackett, a farmer and collier, aged 54 and born in Connecticut. Living with him were his wife Emily, 48, and their children, Charles, 13, and Emma, aged nine.⁹
     In 1880 he was living at Beacon Falls, New Haven County^G, and was recorded as Lucius Sackett, a farmer, aged 59. Living with him were his wife Emily, 59, and their children, Wales, 36, Charles, 23, and Emma, 19.¹⁰

Charles S Sackett, son of Lucius Sackett and Emily C Sherman, was born in Connecticut^G about 1857.¹ He married in Seymour, New Haven County, Connecticut^G, on 1 February 1879, Sarah P Northrop.²

Wales F Sackett, son of Lucius Sackett and Emily C Sherman, was born in Connecticut^G on 2 September 1843.^1,2 He died aged 75 in New Haven County, Connecticut^G, on 31 December 1918 and was buried at Pine Bridge Cemetery, Beacon Falls, New Haven County^G.² He married Sarah J Burnham. Sarah was born on 7 June 1839 and died aged 72 in New Haven County^G on 14 January 1912 and was buried at Pine Bridge Cemetery, Beacon Falls, New Haven County, Connecticut^G.³
     In 1850 Wales was living in Oxford, New Haven County, Connecticut^G, in the household of his parents Lucius and Emily, and was recorded in the census as Wales Sacket, aged seven and born in Connecticut.⁴
     In 1880 he was living at Beacon Falls, New Haven County^G, in the household of his parents Lucius and Emily, and was recorded as Wales F Sackett, a farmer, married, aged 36.⁵

Lewis Sackett was born in Connecticut^G about 1797.^1,2 His parents have not been identified. He died aged 54 in New Haven County, Connecticut^G, on 14 February 1852 and was buried at Pine Bridge Cemetery, Beacon Falls, New Haven County^G.^3,4 He married Lucina ___. Lucina was born in Connecticut^G about 1795.¹ She died aged 59 in New Haven County^G on 30 June 1855 and was buried at Pine Bridge Cemetery^G.^5,6
     Lewis was listed in the census in 1820, 1830 and 1840 as a householder in Oxford, New Haven County^G.^7,8,9
     In 1850 Lewis was living in Oxford, New Haven County, Connecticut^G, and was recorded in the census as Lewis Sacket, a farmer, aged 52 and born in Connecticut. Living with him were his wife Lucinda, 55. Also in the household was Louisa Sacket, aged 13, perhaps a granddaughter.¹⁰

Louisa Sackett was born in Connecticut^G about 1837.¹ Her parents may have been Lewis Sackett and Lucina, although it would seem more likely that these were her grandparents.
     In 1850 she was living at Oxford, New Haven County, Connecticut^G, in the household of Lewis and Lucina Sacket, possibly her grandparents, and was recorded as Louisa Sacket, aged 13 and born in Connecticut.²

Sherman B Sackett, son of Wales F Sackett and Sarah J Burnham, was born, presumably in Connecticut^G, on 27 September 1872.¹ He died aged 89 on 3 January 1962 and was buried at Pine Bridge Cemetery, Beacon Falls, New Haven County, Connecticut^G.^1,2
