Joel Sackett, son of Joseph Sackett and Abigail (Rowe) Ives, was baptized at the First Congregational Society, New Haven, Connecticut^G, on 29 September 1751.^1,2 He died aged 22 in Dutchess County, New York State^G, on 10 January 1773³ and was buried at The Square Burying Ground West Side, Dutchess County^G.³
