Catherine Sackett, daughter of Martin Sackett and Catharine Sapwith, was born in Romford, EssexG, about 1810.1,2 She died aged 75 on 28 January 1886 and was buried at Hampstead Cemetery, Hampstead, LondonG.5,6 She married at St Leonard, Shoreditch, MiddlesexG, on 21 December 1837, Thomas Martin, son of Thomas Martin and Mary ___.3,4 Thomas was born in Diss, NorfolkG, about 1814.2 He died aged 70 on 21 April 1886 and was buried at Hampstead CemeteryG.5
In 1851 Catherine was living in St Anne Soho, Westminster, MiddlesexG, in the household of her husband Thomas, 36, a warehouseman, and was recorded in the census as Katharine Martin, aged 40 and born in Romford. Their son Thomas, 12, was living with them.7
In 1861 she was living at 26 Grafton Street, Westminster, MiddlesexG, in the household of her husband Thomas, 46, a warehouseman, and was recorded as Caroline Martin [sic], aged 50.8
In 1871 she was living at 26 Grafton Street, WestminsterG, in the household of her husband Thomas, 55, a porter, and was recorded as Catherine Martin, aged 60.9
In 1881 she was living at 27 Allcroft Road, St Pancras, LondonG, in the household of her husband Thomas, 65, an ironmongers' warehouseman, and was recorded as Catherine Martin, aged 70.10

Henry Sackett, son of James Sackett and Ann Argent Lee, was born in Dagenham, EssexG, on 24 October 1828 and baptized at St Peter & St Paul, DagenhamG, on 23 November 1828.1 He died aged 72 in Victoria, AustraliaG, in 1900.2

In 1851 he was living at 1 Devonshire Street, Finsbury, Holborn, MiddlesexG, in the household of William Steoeus[?], a master baker, and was recorded as Henry Sackete, a journeyman baker, unmarried, aged 22 and born in Dagenham, Essex.4
Henry emigrated to Australia, arriving at Port Phillip Bay, VictoriaG, from Gravesend, Kent, in April 1853 on the ship Kent.5
