Myrtle Mae "Mertie" Gifford, daughter of Rev Robert Jackson Gifford and Sarah Elizabeth "Lizzie" Sackett, was born in Pennsylvania^G on 27 October 1864¹ and died aged 70 on 9 January 1935.¹ She married on 9 April 1885, Philip J Schade.¹ He was born in 1862² and died in 1935.²
     In 1880 Myrtle was living in Greene, Erie County, Pennsylvania^G, in the household of her parents Robert and Lizzie, and was recorded in the census as Mertie Gifford, a schoolgirl, aged 15 and born in Pennsylvania.³

Eve Sackett, daughter of Montgomery Edson Sackett and Mary Kleckner, was born in Pennsylvania^G about 1862.¹

Homer M Sackett, son of Harvey Sacket and Mary Straw, was born in Pennsylvania^G on 13 September 1847.¹ He died aged 73 in Meadville, Crawford County, Pennsylvania^G, on 4 July 1921 and was buried at Evergreen Cemetery, Harmonsburg, Crawford County^G.^3,4 He married about 1872, Helen Elliott, daughter of Azro Elliott and Emiline Fuller.² Helen was born in Pennsylvania^G on 4 November 1847.¹ She died aged 86 in Meadville^G on 24 January 1934 and was buried at Evergreen Cemetery, Harmonsburg^G.^5,3

     In 1910 he was living in Titusville^G and was recorded as Homer Sackett, a commercial salesman, aged 62. His wife Helen, 62, was living with him.¹⁰
     In 1920 he was living at 791 North Main Street, Meadville, Crawford County^G, and was recorded as H M Sackett, aged 72. His wife Helen, 72, was living with him.¹¹
     In 1930 Homer's widow Helen was living at 731 North Main Street, Meadville, Crawford County, Pennsylvania^G, and was recorded in the census as Helen E Sackett, aged 82. There was also a female lodger in the household.¹²
