     In a list of schools' appointments in 1930, Ada was recorded as transferring from Cleveland Street to Margabeen.4 She married at Wallendbeen, New South Wales, on 19 April 1930, Adrian J F Brown, son of Henry Brown.2,3

Dora Arabella Sackett

Dora Arabella Sackett, daughter of George File Sackett and Arabella Leans, was born in Cootamundra, New South Wales, AustraliaG, in 1905.1 She died in AustraliaG in 1974.2 She married in Hornsby, New South WalesG, in 1940, William McFadden.3
     Dora, then a nurse, aged 32, travelled to England, arriving at the port of SouthamptonG on 17 September 1937 on the ship Arawa via New Zealand and the Panama Canal. Her UK destination was care of Mrs Ainsworth, Regents Park, London.4 She returned after eight months, travelling from LondonG on 27 May 1938 on the ship Narkunda. Her last UK address was in Sheffield. The ship stopped off at Fremantle, Western Australia, on 28 June, en route for Sydney. Dora's destination was the Leans household in Thornleigh, New South Wales.5,6

     Betty and her sisters, Faith and Patricia, visited London, EnglandG, in 1960, arriving there on the Arcadia on 26 February 1960.3 Betty returned to Australia, leaving Southampton for Sydney on the Fair Sky on 15 December 1960.4
