Elisha Shepard Sackett, tinsmith, son of John Sackett and Eunice Leffingwell, was born in MassachusettsG on 28 April 1815.1,2,3 He died aged 74 in IowaG on 10 January 18903 and was buried at Phelps Cemetery, Decorah, Winneshiek County, IowaG.7 He married first in Austinburg, Ashtabula County, OhioG, on 1 January 1842, Maranda Hall.4,5 Maranda was born in PennsylvaniaG about 1824.1 She died aged about 29 in 1853.8 He married second in Green County, WisconsinG, on 17 November 1859, Clorinda Ellen Denson, daughter of Benjamin Denson and Rebecca ___.6 Clorinda was born in OhioG about 1842.1

Lucinda was born in ConnecticutG about 1823.3 She died aged about 71 in IowaG on 3 April 18954 and was buried at Oakland Cemetery, WaukonG.2

Hon Leverett Sackett, son of David Sackett and Anna Parke, was born in MassachusettsG on 21 April 1805.1,2 He died aged about 82 in CaliforniaG in 1887.1 He married first in Chester, Hampden County, MassachusettsG, on 20 March 1833, Mary A Culver.3,4 Mary was born on 29 August 1805.6 She died aged 48 on 29 July 1854 and was buried at Hill Cemetery, Blandford, Hampden County, MassachusettsG.7 He married second in BlandfordG on 20 June 1860, Mary E Brockett.5
Leverett was named as the main beneficiary in his father's will made in Blandford, Hampden County, MassachusettsG, on 8 January 1829. Subject to his mother's one-third lifetime interest, he was to inherit all the real estate, of about 130 acres, together with the buildings, and all personal estate.

1271. Hon. Leverett Sackett, 1805–1887, son of (569) David and Anne Park Sacket, was married to Mary Culver, 1805-1854. He resided at different periods in the towns of Blandford, Chester and Suffield, in Mass. While a resident of Blandford, he represented that town in the Massachusetts Legislature. In 1887 he removed with his family to California, but died before the end of the year.
