Gurdon L Sackett, son of John Sackett and Eunice Leffingwell, was born in Massachusetts^G about 1814.^1,2 He died about 1856.³ He married first about 1850, Margaret ___.¹ Margaret was born in Ireland^G about 1819.¹ He married second in Winnebago County, Illinois^G, on 2 June 1851, Jane Smith.⁴ She died in 1914.⁵
     In 1837 Gurdon was taxed on a landholding of 50 acres in Denmark, Ashtabula County, Ohio^G.⁶
     In 1850 Gurdon was living in Newark, Rock County, Wisconsin^G, and was recorded in the census as Gurdon L Sackett, a farmer, aged 36 and born in Massachusetts. His wife Margaret, 31, was living with him. They had married within the year. There was also a child, Milton Crompton, aged nine, in the household.⁷

Elisha Shepard Sackett, tinsmith, son of John Sackett and Eunice Leffingwell, was born in Massachusetts^G on 28 April 1815.^1,2,3 He died aged 74 in Iowa^G on 10 January 1890³ and was buried at Phelps Cemetery, Decorah, Winneshiek County, Iowa^G.⁷ He married first in Austinburg, Ashtabula County, Ohio^G, on 1 January 1842, Maranda Hall.^4,5 Maranda was born in Pennsylvania^G about 1824.¹ She died aged about 29 in 1853.⁸ He married second in Green County, Wisconsin^G, on 17 November 1859, Clorinda Ellen Denson, daughter of Benjamin Denson and Rebecca ___.⁶ Clorinda was born in Ohio^G about 1842.¹
     In 1850 Elisha was living in Rockton, Winnebago County, Illinois^G, and was recorded in the census as Elisha Sackett, a tinman, aged 34 and born in Ohio. Living with him were his wife Miranda, 26, and their children, Charles, 8, Clarissa, 6, Michael, 4, and Cassius, aged one.⁹
     In 1860 he was living in Monroe, Green County, Wisconsin^G, and was recorded as Eliz Sackett [sic], a tinner, aged 45. Living with him were his second wife, Clorinda, 18, and his children by his first marriage, Charles, 18, Clarissa, 16, Michael, 14, Cassius, 12, and Perry, aged six.¹⁰
     In 1880 he was living in West Decorah, Winneshiek County, Iowa^G, and was recorded as Elisha Sacket, a tinner, a widower, aged 65.¹¹

David Alonzo Sackett, son of John Sackett and Eunice Leffingwell, was born, presumably in Ashtabula County, Ohio^G, in 1819.¹ He died aged about 55 in Waukon, Allamakee County, Iowa^G, on 28 May 1875 and was buried at Oakland Cemetery, Waukon^G.² He married Lucinda J ___. Lucinda was born in Connecticut^G about 1823.³ She died aged about 71 in Iowa^G on 3 April 1895⁴ and was buried at Oakland Cemetery, Waukon^G.²
     In 1850 David was living in Rockton, Winnebago County, Illinois^G, and was recorded in the census as David A Sackett, a farmer, aged 31 and born in Ohio. His wife Lucinda, 27, was living with him. Also in the household were his mother Eunice, 60?, his brother Zaven, 19, and his sister Eunice, 17, with her husband Dewit Kingsley, 21.⁵
     In 1856 he was living in Makee, Allamakee County, Iowa^G, and was recorded as D A Sackett, a farmer, aged 36. he owned 80 acres of unimproved land. His wife Lucinda, 32, was living with him. Also living with them was Silas W Keltner, 7, an orphan of nearby friends, later adopted as Silas Wright Sackett.⁶

Corinth E Sackett, daughter of John Sackett and Eunice Leffingwell, was born in Pennsylvania^G on 6 December 1824.^1,2,3 She died aged 70 in Williamsfield, Ashtabula County, Ohio^G, on 27 October 1895 and was buried at Dodgeville Cemetery, New Lyme, Ashtabula County^G.⁶ She married in Ashtabula County^G on 6 January 1848, Alonzo A Morse, son of Samuel Morse and Charlotte Leffingwell.^4,5 Alonzo was born in Williamsfield^G on 1 August 1819.^4,6 He died there aged 75 on 14 June 1895 and was buried at Dodgeville Cemetery^G.⁶
     In 1850 Corinth was living in Williamsfield, Ashtabula County, Ohio^G, in the household of her husband Alonzo, 29, a farmer, and was recorded in the census as Corinth Morse, aged 24. Living with them were their children, Victoria, 2, and Josephine, aged one, and Alonzo's father Samuel Morse, 68.⁷
     In 1860 she was living in Williamsfield^G in the household of her husband Alonzo, 40, and was recorded as Corinth Morse, aged 36. Living with them were their children, Victoria, 11, Josephine, 10, Corinth, 8, Alonzo, 7, Agnes, 5, Zavan, 3, and Alice, aged one month. Alonzo's father Samuel, 79, was also in the household.⁸
     In 1870 she was living in New Lyme, Ashtabula County^G, in the household of her husband Alonzo, 50, a farmer, and was recorded as Corinth Morse, aged 46. Living with them were their children, Victoria, 22, Corinth, 19, Agnes, 15, Alonzo, 16, Alphonse, 12, Alice, 9, Anna, 6, and Zula, aged three.⁹
     In 1880 she was living in New Lyme^G in the household of her husband Alonzo, 60, a farmer, and was recorded as Corrinth E Morse, aged 55. Living with them were their children, Corinth, 28, Alonzo, 26, Alphonso, 23, Alice, 19, Enna, 15, and Zula, aged twelve.¹⁰

Eunice C Sackett, daughter of John Sackett and Eunice Leffingwell, was born in Ohio^G about 1833.^1,2 She married Dewit C Kingsley. Dewit was born in Pennsylvania^G about 1829.²
     In 1850 Eunice was living in Rockton, Winnebago County, Illinois^G, and was recorded in the census as Eunice Kingsley, aged 17 and born in Ohio. She was living with her husband Dewit, 21, in the household of her brother David Sackett.³

Lucretia Sackett, daughter of John Sackett and Eunice Leffingwell, was born, presumably in Ohio^G, say 1835.¹
     The only record found for Perit Sackett is that in The Leffingwell Genealogy. No source is given.

Charlotte Sackett, daughter of David Sackett and Anna Parke, was born in 1804.¹ She married before 1829, ___ Lewis.
     Charlotte was named as Charlotte Lewis in her father's will made in Blandford, Hampden County, Massachusetts^G, on 8 January 1829. She was left $1.

Hon Leverett Sackett, son of David Sackett and Anna Parke, was born in Massachusetts^G on 21 April 1805.^1,2 He died aged about 82 in California^G in 1887.¹ He married first in Chester, Hampden County, Massachusetts^G, on 20 March 1833, Mary A Culver.^3,4 Mary was born on 29 August 1805.⁶ She died aged 48 on 29 July 1854 and was buried at Hill Cemetery, Blandford, Hampden County, Massachusetts^G.⁷ He married second in Blandford^G on 20 June 1860, Mary E Brockett.⁵
     Leverett was named as the main beneficiary in his father's will made in Blandford, Hampden County, Massachusetts^G, on 8 January 1829. Subject to his mother's one-third lifetime interest, he was to inherit all the real estate, of about 130 acres, together with the buildings, and all personal estate.
     Leverett was listed in the census in 1830 and 1840 as a householder in Blandford^G.^8,9
     In 1850 Leverett was living at Blandford^G and was recorded in the census as Leaverett Sackett, a farmer, aged 45 and born in Massachusetts. Living with him were his wife Mary, aged 44, their children, Nancy, 14, and Harris [Horace], aged six, and Leverett's mother Anna, 67.¹⁰

Betsey Elvira Sackett, daughter of David Sackett and Anna Parke, was born in Massachusetts^G on 23 January 1820.^1,2 She died aged 87 in Hollywood, Los Angeles, California^G, on 24 January 1907^3,4 and was buried at Angelus Rosedale Cemetery, Los Angeles^G.⁷ She married in Blandford, Hampden County, Massachusetts^G, on 12 November 1844, Joseph W Otis, son of Samuel Otis and Sybil Nott.^1,5,6 Joseph was born in Chester, Hampden County^G, about 1820^2,8 and was buried at Chester Center Cemetery^G.⁷
     Betsey was named as a beneficiary in her father's will made in Blandford, Hampden County, Massachusetts^G, on 8 January 1829. She was to receive a sum of $50 at age 18.
     In 1850 Betsey was living in Chicopee, Hampden County, Massachusetts^G, in the household of her husband Joseph, 32, a laborer, and was recorded in the census as Betsey Otis, aged 32 and born in Massachusetts. Their daughter Arabella, 4, was living with them.⁹
     In 1860 she was living in Chester, Hampden County^G, in the household of her husband Joseph, 40, a laborer, and was recorded as Betsey E Otis, aged 41. Living with them were their daughter Arabella, 14, and Joseph's mother Sybil, 84.¹⁰
     In 1870 she was living in West Springfield, Hampden County^G, in the household of her daughter Arabella and son-in-law Henry Wilbur, and was recorded as Betsey Otis, a seamstress, aged 51.¹¹
     In 1880 she was living at Broad Street, Middletown, Middlesex County, Connecticut^G, and was recorded as Betsey Otis, aged 58.¹²
