Capt Richard Sackett, son of Joseph Sackett and Hannah Budson, was born in Greenwich, Fairfield County, ConnecticutG, on 7 June 1754.1,2 He died aged 73 in Nichols, Tioga County, New York StateG, on 24 January 1828 and was buried at Asbury Cemetery, NicholsG.4 He married in Rye, Westchester County, New York StateG, on 1 April 1782, Tabitha Smith.2,3
     Richard served in the American Revolutionary War.
     In 1790 Richard was living in Bedford, Westchester County, New York StateG. In his household were two men, one boy, and three females.5
     Richard was appointed an executor of the will (made in 1798) of his cousin Colonel Richard Sackett, to serve jointly with Colonel Richard's sons Nathaniel and Caleb.
     Richard was listed in the 1800 census as a householder in BedfordG.6 He was taxed there on a house and farm valued at $2,390 in 1799 and 1800, and on real estate valued at $1,195 in 1801 and 1802.7
     Richard was listed in the 1810 census as a householder in Owego, Tioga CountyG.8 In 1820 he was a householder in Tioga, New York StateG.9
     Richard's widow Tabitha was listed in the census in 1830 as a householder in Nichols, Tioga County, New York StateG.10

     James served during the American Revolutionary War. After the War he was a Lieutenant in the 2nd Westchester County Regiment.3,4
     James was taxed on a house and farm in Bedford, Westchester County, New York StateG, in the years 1799 to 1803.5 He was listed in the census in 1800 and 1810 as a householder there.6,7

374. Lieut. James Sackett, 1762–1__?, of Westchester County, N. Y., son of (120) Joseph and Hannah Budson Sackettt, served during the war of the Revolution and for fifteen years after the declaration of peace as a private soldier and a commissioned officer in 2d Westchester County Regiment.      Throughout the greater part of his long term he served under his cousin, Richard Sackett, who during the war was the Captain of his Company, and after the war commanded the Regiment in which he for five years served as Adjutant.

Nathaniel Sackett, son of Joseph Sackett and Hannah Budson, was born in Greenwich, Fairfield County, ConnecticutG, on 8 October 1763.1,2 He died aged about 48 in Bedford, Westchester County, New York StateG, in 18122 and was buried at Old Bedford CemeteryG.5 He married at the Second Congregational Church, GreenwichG, on 19 February 1787, Bethiah Reynolds, daughter of Horton Reynolds and Lydia Knapp.2,3,4 Bethiah was born in Stamford, Fairfield County, ConnecticutG, on 27 October 1767.6,7 She died aged 41 in BedfordG on 8 August 1809 and was buried at the Old Bedford CemeteryG.6
     In 1790 Nathaniel was living in Norwalk, Fairfield County, ConnecticutG. In his household were two men, one boy, and three females.8
     Nathaniel was listed in the 1800 census as a householder in Mamaroneck, Westchester County, New York StateG.9 He was taxed there on a house and farm in the years 1800 to 1803.10 In 1810 he was living in Bedford, Westchester CountyG.11
     Nathaniel made his will in Bedford, New York StateG, on 13 March 1812, naming as beneficiaries his children, Joseph, William, James, Fanny the wife of Henry Reynolds, Maria, Hannah, and Jane Ann. Executors were to be his brothers Joseph and James and his daughter Maria. The will was proved on 14 May 1812.2

His will is dated "Bedford, Westchester County, N. Y., Mar. 13, 1812," and was probated May 14, 1812. In it he mentions his children Joseph, William, James, Fanny, the wife of Henry Reynolds; Maria, Hannah, and Jane Ann. He names as his Executors his brothers Joseph and James and his daughter Maria.
