Harriet Sackett, daughter of William Sackett and Anne Ansell, was born in St Peter in Thanet, KentG, on 24 December 17801 and baptized at St Peter in ThanetG on 7 January 1781.1 She died aged 62 in Ramsgate, KentG,2 and was buried at St George, RamsgateG, on 8 October 1843.3 She married at St Peter in ThanetG on 8 December 1798, James Jarman.4 James was born in about 1775.5 He died aged 69 in RamsgateG,6 and was buried at St George, RamsgateG, on 31 March 1845.7
In 1841 Harriet was living in RamsgateG in the household of her husband James, 65, a bricklayer's labourer, and was recorded in the census as Harriot Jarman, aged 60 and born in Kent. Living with them was their son Samuel, aged 25.8
